Joe's Belated Birthday Celebration at Joaqirum!

It is in Suntec Convention Hall. Buffet Steamboat dinner at $25.80 nett. Quite ex but i ate my worthed big share. Contented*

After finishing the steamboat ingredients, rojak and lots of meat, my eyes widen at the sight of cakes. i love cakes!

Mango and strawberry cakes neatly arranged on the tray. Don't u tink they look like Lego bricks?

Through Shi Xin's recommendation, i ordered a liquor, Bailey's Irish Cream.

It is a small small cup half filled.

Shi Xin felt guilty and wanted me to order another cup charged to his bill. But i 'bu hao yi si'... Don want him to spend another $13+ over another half filled small cup again. hahas.

But Ling was right. It is not the quantity, but the quality that counts. It was sweet and tasted like smoothie.

17th may -

Went Fabian's newly opened salon at Tanah Merah. :)

Coloured my hair and did treatment for $55. I leave my hair colour for fabian to decide but i told him can't choose very bright colors.









The hair treatment was cute.

I had this super tight 'balloon' wrapped over my head and it pulled my face skin till my face looked so weird. i seemed to have a face lift. hahas. i looked like a chef when steam went into the 'balloon'.







Look carefully at this pic. U see steam coming out of the black hole.

Wei der became restless while waiting. Went to cut his hair to make himself less bored.

And wei der bought pink earphones for me! wows. i haven buy myself any earphones all my life.

Now i can use my new earphones to plug into wei der's super old Panasonic discman to listen to my burnt CDs.

i don't need a mp3 player. i am contented with a discman. hehes!

I realised that some customers are very funnie. Everytime i received complaints about our pastas/pizzas, they will surely tell me, "Your pasta/pizza is very ....., u want u can try lahs."

u tried already and how i dare to try? hahas!










Or rather some will say last time they came the pastas/pizzas are tastier. HEY.. everyone cooks in a different way. Not everyone suits u.. hahas!

Went Marina square just for dinner at Billy Bombers'.




Why is it that he is always so photogenic? MAD*












This is the 1st time we sat on gold seats. Usually there are only red seats available. This are only 2 gold seats there specially for just a table for 2.









We ordered the meal of the day (parry fish) and a side order of cheese fries.






Our cheese fries and soup of the day (clam chowder):

Their clam chowder tastes the same as Pasta Mania's.

The Parry fish:

It looked small but it's filling. Very nice. BBQ + Grilled fish! No 'original fish smell'. u know.. i seldom eat fish.. If i do, it must be very nice.

Our dessert of the day. Coffee chips ice cream. The cup is so cute that i almost steal it home.

And i bought 3 pairs of ear rings from Diva for $10.

They are of different colors. U can match and mix them. Cute!!

The stud backings are special. They are not metal although they looked like one. Comfortable on my ears. And they wont give me a feeling of dropping anytime that i have to keep pushing them back onto my ears.

yi fen qian yi fen huo. i don have to worry that my ear hole will close anymore! u know.. work doesn't allow big ear rings.

But unfortunately they looked quite small on my big ears. hahas.

7th june -


I met up with Ling about 11pm after work. Our 24 hr Mac was suddenly closed and we went to the prata shop instead.






Ling's prata:

i didn't dare to look at the time half way through our chat. Ling didn't have her watch nor handphone by her side. (the prata shop was just opposite her house)













It was already 4am in the morning when we finally checked the time. SURPRISED!



We got teased by the Prata uncle when we settled our bill. hahas.















As i had 2 Teh Chino Ice, u could probably guess wat can happen to me next! I CANT SLEEP! i only slept at 6am after much struggle.















That day at work wasn't too much a torture, luckily. My colleague said i looked energetic instead of sleepy. i guess the effect of the teh hasn't wear off?

This is the 2nd pasta Loy cooked for me! Prawn Aglio.








I got tired of Creamy Chicken, Alfredo and Chicken Sausage. Now i switched to 'ta mee'. Because of the lightings, my spoon and fork is shining! :)

Maggie bought this for me, knowing that i love mint alot. They are chocolates, not sweets. Only $1 per pack. very very nice! u can get it in supermarkets! Try it!
