DJ discovered a new app which tells of your future life after you input your birth date and time. She read out for me so many sentences of hardly understood Chinese that I gave up listening to it together. Lol. So she summarised it as "You will have a good life after the age of 28." Omg! If only this app is accurate (I don't believe in fortune telling), then I would not have to worry even if I am going to struggle with life from 25 to 27.
Kukup Part II
Upon reaching the chalet, we hogged the karaoke system for sometime before we went out of the chalet for tea time!
Curry chicken was served as tea.
We were the first to scoop the contents out from the pots.
Near our eating area was this extension where people can go out and enjoy the sea breeze.
And CS was the one to explore the breezy wind. He looked really emo there even though the curry was supposed to make him feel better.
At this moment, Jonathan commented that we always take photos with food in our hands. Oops.. :D

Always food appear very appealing in photographs, as opposed to humans who require the combination of good lighting, a really good camera and superb photography skills.
Heard people selling ice-cream nearby. Although my stomach is of full capacity due to lots of snacking, I asked Simba to buy one for me as our philosophy of being overseas is to attempt everything there! This is so that we make every part of the trip worthwhile and strike it off our "Places to visit" list after the trip. :D
Each ice-cream costs only SGD 0.40! The unique cone shape reminded me of the torch which the Statue of Liberty holds on to and Azabu Sabo ice-cream.
Dunno what's so funny at that point of time but well this photo is so candid!
When CS volunteered to take a photo for us, Jun Wen went to grab the pole and was swinging about it trying to make himself look like he was going to jump into the waters. Got me really worried about him. Lol. The monkey!
A boat sped by, with people in the boat waving to us when I was pointing my camera at them.
The locals were already preparing the barbeque dinner for us by the time our tea break finished. Look at the burning charcoal behind him!
A snake was caught in the net and we were told to let it go. Jonathan then used a small net to let the snake slither into it and while he was lowering it to the waters, Simba stretched out his hand attempting to touch it but I stopped him in time. Phew! :D
The snake could be poisonous for all you know! :(
Touring around the island was one form of entertainment, with the added advantage of us taking abit of exercise after the endless eating and singing.
Found an abandoned boat that gave me the shivers since all action horror movies like "The Hills Have Eyes" start with the victims finding an abandoned vehicle which was once owned by the previous batch of victims. Lol.
CS and PH spotted a dried up shit and told us to take a close look at it since we couldn't find it anywhere in Singapore. Lol.
Jun Wen jumped at the opportunity to pose with the shit. Yes, we should not have any doubt that the boyfriend is eccentric.

The residential area. Caught this family stealing Singapore's TV Channel network, Channel U.
One of the most majestic houses that we saw.
I was busy capturing shots of this house from afar when its owner, a very friendly granny, came out and invited us in. We were so taken aback by her hospitality that we did not know what to do. To reject her or not? Hence Simba took the initiative to step into her house and led us into it too.
I always believe that a beautifully designer house should have a very elegant staircase and this has definitely surpassed the standard.
After the inspiring tour, dinner was almost ready.
Their expertise in barbecuing made me wanna stand in the midst of them hoping to blend in and hopefully learn how to barbecue without burning these food.
The otah were among the nicest. Pretty spicy though.

Then after dinner, PH saw people releasing sky lanterns into the sky and want to try one too.
Thus we took a deflated lantern and began penning down our wishes!

Was told to write in Chinese characters and since I have lost touch with Chinese for 9 years, I was not confident of writing them down correctly so this is the time my iPhone dictionary came in handy!
A granny who happened to pass by commented that my handwriting is so nice! LOL.
CS accidentally photobombed. And his bored expression went to show that I took a great deal of time figuring out some Chinese character.

Lol. No dictionary was used as CS offered his help. At the glimpse of his writing, you can conveniently deduce that Jun Wen was really panicky about some words. :D

After all of us were done, we approached our amiable tour guide to help us in lighting our lantern up.

Our lantern flew up quickly as soon as we released it which was a good sign. :D
