I recently read an article: 50 Things You Need to Give Up Today.

There are a couple of things that apply to me.
Give up trying to avoid mistakes. – The only mistake that can truly hurt you is choosing to do nothing simply because you’re too scared to make a mistake.
Give up trying to live up to the expectations of others. – Work on it for real and exceed your own expectations. Everything else will fall into place.
Give up worrying about what others think of you. – Unless you’re trying to make a great first impression (job interview, first date, etc.), don’t let the opinions of others stand in your way. What they think and say about you isn’t important. What is important is how you feel about yourself.
Give up spending your life working in a career field you’re not passionate about. – Life is too short for such nonsense. The right career choice is based on one key point: Finding hard work you love doing. So if you catch yourself working hard and loving every minute of it, don’t stop. You’re on to something big. Because hard work ain’t hard when you concentrate on your passions.
And remember, mistakes make us human, failures help us grow, hope keeps us going and love is the reason we’re alive. So keep learning, loving and living. Never give up on yourself.
I think I need to find something I really like. At the present moment, I shall just try to enjoy what I'm doing. Maybe I may get a new job after a year or so! Lol.
Continuing with Part 2 of our Langkawi trip!
In my previous entry.. I mentioned that we went for a horse ride!
And Jun Wen was over the moon! His horse's name is Lucy. Can't remember mine!
One of the shoots that the staff helped us to capture. Lol. I didn't feel him leaning on him until this photo told me! He explained that the elephant braked so hard that he crashed onto me and hence his shocked expression. I didn't think the elephant braked in any part of the ride.
There is a hotel amongst in this fun place. :D
U can really consider staying here next time!
Saw the other entrance of the Oriental Village. The sun is shining directly onto my eyes. Poor eyes!
Stray cats we saw on the street.
The white one is really rare. It has pure white fur and looks so elegant and poise.
We thought the Duck Tour starts at 5pm, but when we went there, we were told to wait another half an hour. So we sat on a seat nearby and rested for awhile before going to other farms.

Simba headed right into the Animal Farm when we passed by it. Lol. Admission is free but carrots for rabbit feeding costs $1 per pack. Rabbits just roamed around in the farm. They look so cute and nice.
They look adorable until I went to purchase some carrots. And omg..
All ten of them rushed straight up to me. They were really warm and I got so scared! I passed all of the carrots to Jun Wen knowing that I am going to scream!
And he began to play with them.
He gave a few carrots each time, and aim these carrots high. These rabbits were so competitive and hungry that a few climbed up his thighs. Omg!
It was an overwhelming feeling for me. I always thought rabbits are shy and tame animals but I changed my mind that day. They became agressive when they are hungry. Farm rabbits led very fortuanate lives and get fed by humans everyday.
Look at those scary amount of rabbits fighting for food. They chased after me and I screamed out loud. I fell over an uneven ground while trying to escape. Poor me got chased by the most unexpected animals. Lol.
Jun Wen took a few pictures of the rabbits while feeding them. They are only cute on the surface. Deep down, they are WAR! Soon after this, Simba showed me the aftemath of interacting with them. There were a few scratches found on him. Omg!
I became traumatized until we got onto the Duck Tour bus. Never been on the Duck Tour in Singapore. Anyway, it costs half the price and double the fun in Langkawi than in Sg. Thought it was really cool to see a bus turn into a boat when it reaches the waters.
The driver turned on the engine and went away, while waiting for the passengers to load.
Life jackets were placed on each seat.

In the bus. He looked really tired. I wasn't! He kept on napping whenever a chance arose. Especially when the bus began its tour and the tour guide was showing us around. I thought it was rude to sleep in front of the tour guide so I woke him up. But his excuse was he didn't sleep, he couldn't open his eyes wide due to the glaring sun. Lol.
And it turned out that I was the only one listening to the tour guide. Everyone else were busy looking at attractions that we passed by.
This is the hotel for VIPs staying in Langkawi. The cheapest room costs RM2,000 per night while the most expensive one costs RM35,000. It's crazily steep!
The tour guide also said about some movie being flimed right in this area of Langkawi. Couldn't remember which one. Need to ask Jun Wen again.
Just before our bus turned into a boat, we have to put on our life jackets!

There were many many beautifully designed structure in the sea. :D

And here are the fishing boats to transport the fishermen for their livelihood of fishing.
Some of the majestic yachts owned by the Malaysian President and other famous people were parked right here in Langkawi.
I knew we would get better treatment if I listen to what the tour guide has to say. He volunteered to take a photo of us. Lol. He only volunteered for us! Yea!
He spoke Malay to us, thinking that we are locals. We just nodded and smiled.
Maybe not many Singaporeans went there. The people there thought we are either Japanese, Chinese or Korean. Lol.
We took the cable car too.
Jun Wen said we always take cable car to whatever country we went to. Taipei, Hong Kong and now Langkawi! Lol.
The cable car brought us to great heights. Simba said this might just be higher than the Big Buddha at Hong Kong. But luckily, this time, I don't feel so sick at great heights.
And we reached!
We climbed up to the viewing tower. And wow the wind was so strong and the sun was so so scorching.
The wind wanted so much to blow us away. Couldn't stand still and long in the cold windy area.
We wanted to walk to this skybridge but the journey was too long. We had to climb down and up many many stairs before we can get to it. I couldn't do it. LOL. Our initial plan was that he went down and take photos of the scenery from there while I wait for him somewhere. But in the end, we were worried that I might just disappeared somewhere in this foreign country so we abandoned the idea. LOL.
And so we took the cable car back. :D
Our next itinerary was to go to Kuah Town to have some seafood, as recommended by Kar Perng.
There was this night market which I am interested in. Haha!
We saw many Malaysians dining in this seafood restaurant, Joo Tian, so we decided on giving it a try.
We were very thirsty so I ordered Soya Milk and 100 Plus!
The Soya Milk looks so special right! It has a tight lid and we couldn't pull it off. After like 10 minutes of trying, one uncle next to our seat gave us toothpicks to poke it through. Lol.
Anyway, the uncles at the next table were real drinkers. They chatted over beers and liquor. They drank liquor without mixer and none of them looked drunk. :D
We waited for an hour for the food to come. It was 9pm by then. We then realized that maybe the seats were almost full as the food took too long to come. Some tables were just filled with Ang Mohs drinking Carlbergs and some Malaysian uncles drinking other beers. Lol. The others, like us, just waited patiently for the food. It seemed so much like they were prepared to wait an hour for their food.
To give the restuarant some justice, we must say that the food is good.
The fish curry, tom yam soup and the vegs didn't disappoint us. We can't say they are worth the long wait, but at least they were good.
We then went to the Saturday night market at Kuah Town.
People were selling street food, some of them cooked in special ways. Raw fishes were up on sale in the night market, which were interesting to be seen.
:D There ain't much to buy. My only purchase was a bag that costs SGD11! I saw it selling in Singapore at SGD30++. It's definitely a good buy!
One cruel thing I saw in the market, were this pet chicks locked in these low walled cages. There were not much space for each chick to move about in the cage. It was overcrowding! Poor chicks! It's ironic for me to say something like that now since I'm a cruel person as well. :(
The Night Market opens till 1am in the late night! :D
Each stall is built like a hut, unlike those rectangular shaped tents in Sg.
We went back to our hotel at about midnight. I fell asleep in the cab. Finally I felt tired! :D I'm still a strong person throughout the entire day even though I only slept 2 hours! Simba had been stealing lazy times of the day to nap!
