Feel very touched lately. Thank guys for being faithful readers of my blog. When u guys mentioned something what i wrote here to me, i smile. Thanks for taking the time & effort to read. Thanks for not minding some boring entries and continued reading on.

And Malin, my ex colleague, is now in Sri Lanka. He managed to find me in Facebook and send me a message. So so touched.

I know alot of things happen to all of u lately. I know some of u are still feeling hurt & upset.








Want to let all of u know I will always be there. Dont feel upset & discouraged anymore k. Although i may not be a good adviser, i will be all ears for u. Don't hesitate to tell me when u need me. I promise to spend time with u. I promise to smile & hug u.

I thank you that u all have chosen me to tell your problems to. I thank you that u trust that i will keep your secrets. I thank you that u appreciate me as your friend. I thank you for being a wonderful friend to me and bringing joy to my life.




















I know forgiveness is hard. But do forgive. True happiness comes after forgiveness. A beautiful rainbow is formed after the heavy rain. Dont let anger make u into someone u r not, dont let anger change u. Difficult situations are temporary and u need to overcome them. Dont give up. I will always be encouraging u. I love all of u.

I have started to appreciate watches. I got a watch from my poly friends as my 21st bday present. At 1st i always forgot to bring it out. It always stayed at home in my pencil case. Until one day, i happened to unzip my pencil case & found it. Then for that few days, it was present within my sight in my house. So it was on my wrist all the time.

And Jun Wen like to ask me what time it was, even though his phone is in his pocket. And i always search my big bag for my phone to tell him the time. My watch was on my wrist and i still forgot! But i'm starting to remb. Starting to have the habit of lifting up my left hand to check the time. Yes, i changed it to put on my left wrist so that when i write, i dont remove it and put it into my bag. Now i finally understood the full use of a watch.

8 aug -

Olympics opening ceremony at 8pm! Jun Wen and i wanted to watch it in the TV lounge near his hostel room. But we fell asleep before it even started. DOTS! We had a long day attending classes so we forgave ourselves.

9 aug -

National Day!

I went with Jun Wen for fireworks. :P

There were so many people around us but we ignored them! COntinued taking our photos. haha! This year it seemed disappointing. Last few years' fireworks were nicer!

11 Aug -

Bi Han, Sharon, Jun Wen and i had a 2 hr break in school. So we went to our newly opened Sakae Sushi in sch. Although there isn't service charge, but the price for each plate is $2.10. 20 cents more than other outlets. So we ordered main courses and just a few plates of sushi instead. They discussed about Olympics and i knew nuts abt it.

Wanted to take photos but i forgot. :(

We were at lecture when Wei Lun was having attempts to look cool. He wore his sunglasses, claiming that the screen was too bright. Ok la, he succeeded. Jun Wen borrowed his glasses and wore it. And Bi Er commented that he looked like a chipmunk. HAHAHA! He wants to be Thedore but Carine said he is Alvin!

This will be my phone wallpaper for a week.

23rd july -






Went for supper with Jun Wen, Xiao Jiao, Alvin & Yu Zhuang at Hong Kong cafe. Then Alvin drove us to Henderson Waves. I never heard of this highway before till that day. It is known as the tallest highway in Singapore. Cool! Then we walked to Mount Faber before we headed home. It was 5am in the morning when i reached home.



















On the way back, i was sleeping in Alvin's car & the other 3 were still very active. Xiao Jiao called me the Drowsy Queen. Everytime we had a night event in hostel, i'm the 1st one to sleep. HAHA. i wasn't good at playing cards so always slept while playing.






















Wow, i've got forensic science as my new sem elective. Excited like mad.

I'm learning Electronics for Biomedical Eng, Biomolecular Eng 2, BioFluid Systems, Biomaterials, Mechanisms of Materials & Forensic Science this sem. Most bio subjects! Wow cool. I must clear my brain of nonsence to exchange for more bio info.

And don laugh.. I accidentally applied 1 more elective. "Introduction to Psychology". Haha. Blur me. Got to drop it. Yes, logically i shld drop forensic science cos i learnt Psychology in my poly b4. But i wanna learn being a CSI. Cool! i hope i wont vomit at the sight of the gross pics of murder. I'm so so lucky. Forensic science has so many students on the waiting list & yet the system chose me. Praise God!

I'm quite sad that Jun Wen got into a different class as me. He got into the class of the best combination. Can go class late & end class early. Lesser breaks in between. We wanted to choose the same elective, Traditional Chinese Medicine, but didnt manage to. 1 of my lessons clashes with this elective.

School has started for 3 days. And i wasnt so used to sleeping early during the sch hols. So my 1st day of sch was bad. Half of the time, my eyelids became so heavy. I have tried not to drink coffee. And so.. as a result, i was dozing off.

And the moment i tried to close my eyes for that few secs, i will either feel a poke on my hand or a 'shoo shoo' in my ear! Jun Wen!!!!!!! He said i wasn't supposed to sleep in school. When i awoke and looked at him with that want to kill him face, he laughed and pointed at the screen.

And i believe he wasn't paying attention as well. He was copying my drawings on my lecture notes. Occasionally he flashed me a funny face. Why cant i sleep when u aren't paying attention too? Haha.

And i have to do tutorials with jun wen every week. i asked him whether i can copy from him his tutorials. He said no. Or i do 2 subjects & he do 2 then we exchange. He also said no. Oh Kill me please! Not that i don want to do, but i have no time and no energy. I'm so tired after sch! He would shoo me up if i ever fall asleep while doing homework. Oh No! i'm going to be in deep shit.

I hope this motivation will make me have better grades. I would try to do every tutorial this sem. Now that i have a tutor, i have no excuse not to learn more.

My last sem grades slipped. 1st sem i got 1 A, 3 Bs and 1 D. 2nd sem i got 3 Bs and 2 Cs. B for Spanish, Material Science & Organic Chem. C for Maths & Anatomy. My GPA fell from 3.32/5 to 3.23/5. I aimed for all Bs. But it's okay. I try harder. :) Hoping to improve a little this sem. I believe i will hold a lighter heart to sch each day. Less stressed & happier. Seeing his wide smile is making me alot happier.

Just had my first forensic science lesson. Jun Wen was kind enough to accompany me for this 3 hrs lecture. It interests me alot. I was listening throughout. I got to know about how forensic scientists investigate the crime scene using evidences.

Some murder cases:

Buck Ruxton and the Jigsaw Murders

This Indian doctor murdered his wife & maid. He cut off all distinguishing features on the bodies. These features are birthmarks, scars, faces and ends of their fingers. He then cut them up into pieces and wrapped them up in newspapers before he threw them into the river.

However, the corpses were washed ashore on the banks of the river few days later. So the forensic scientists reassembled them but couldnt find anything on them to identify them. The evidence is the newspaper. It was a local edition printed exclusively for Morecombe in England. Morecombe police has reports of two women missing: Mrs Ruxton and her maid.

The bodies had to be firmly identified. Forensic Science always has new problems. So an invention of new tactics to address a new situation has to be made. In the past, there weren't any DNA matches. They thought of an idea. That is to find photographs of the two women and also photograph the skull from the same angle. Their face shapes matched the skulls.

Murder or suicide?

In Bukit Merah, there was a boy lying on the tracks of the MRT train. It was thought that he commited suicide. However, if the boy was alive on the tracks before the train run him over, his heart would have come under pressure & his blood vessels would splash out all their contents. There should be lots of blood around the area. But there wasn't as much blood. The forensic scientist come to a conclusion which the boy was murdered before he was put onto the track. It turned out to be a robbery over $5.

What is the charge?

An undergrad disposed her baby after giving birth. If the baby was dead after she threw it into the rubbish chute, she would be found guilty of murder. But it was found out that the baby was premature. It was a still birth. The baby was dead before she threw it away. So the charge became illegally disposing dead body instead of murder. She was given a stern warning instead of being hung.

And the limits of forensic science was ...

'The act does not make a person guilty unless the mind is guilty.'

Forensic science is only useful to determine what guilty action takes place, but it is not useful to determine a guilty mind. Fo example, if u rob a bank accidentally, it is not of a guilty mind. (But most of time, no one will rob a bank without a guilty intention.) No intention to kill becomes manslaughter which carries less charges.

One example of a guilty action without a guilty mind:

Dick Cheney, the Vice-President of USA likes to go quail hunting with his friends. However one day, he saw the bushes moving & thought it was a quail. Without much thought, he shot at the bush & injure Frank Whittington.

He didnt wanted to injure Frank. He thought Frank was a quail. haha! So he was let off & was scolded by George Bush. HAHAHA.

Oh No don be like me! i dont wanna make ur english deprove. u were a JC student with lots of good vocab! U typed your sms with gd english. i always have to check my phone dictionary cos u used too many adjectives that i never learn b4. i told u my vocab is private limited!

Haha. i will always remb wat u wrote. 'If 1 day i ever become a silent sea urchin, u shall be the ultrasound producing dolphin nearby, always cheering me up!'

And your 'If 1 of your crazy requests is either a choice of breathing or loving u, i will breathe my last breath saying i love u.'

And also.. 'My life without u is like lyrics without melody. Can't do without u.'

HAHA. Paiseh lei. i try to think of 1 chim chim sentence to write to u one day ya. Anyhow combine all the chim chim words i know then put them into a sentence. It may turn out to be a big mistake. But u wont mind right? U so humble. U even can sit down with me in the children section of the library to hear me read storybooks to u. Occasionally u still have to teach me to pronounce some words.

U always said not everyone appreciate my jokes. Only u appreciate all of them. Really meh? Just because u are funnier doesnt mean i not funny hor.





















So cute. U were in ShangHai influencing ur frens to speak like me. Haha! Careful becomes 'Care-hu'. Elephant becomes 'Ele-phone'. Friend becomes 'f-wayne'. HAHA. And now, Bevelin calls u Jun Hoon instead of Jun Wen!

So blur. U are so sotong! U always say 'Huh?!' in front of your sentences. Just like me. Sometimes, u forgot wat u said and did. Just like me! u will also miss a bus stop or 2. Just like me!

So nice. U said u will let me be big woman (da nu ren)! So happy. i try not to ask u hibernate & starve yourself k. And try not to ask u drink fish tank water. U always said i'm tall. So happy! U are so Uhu, so happy! And u everything also anything, wow! Wow, will i ever quarrel with u 1 day?

12th july -






We went to Tuck Wei's house to stay. We went for supper at Kembagan before we walked back to his home. I finally learn mahjong. Tuck wei taught me, joe taught ying. Tuck Wei was so patient. U know, i learnt things slowly.. i mean.. Very slowly.
















I tot i have got fever that day. Sick & hungry. Joe and Tuck Wei were so nice! Joe went down to get panadol for me at Watsons & Tuck Wei cooked eggs for me. Even peeled off the egg shell & cut it up into 4 pieces. Super touched de hao bu hao! My gd friends indeed. :) i'm so blessed.











We slept at 5am.






Ying and i shared 1 cushion & slept on the floor. Halfway through, my waist hurt & the body turned cold. So i left her & took 2 cushions, 1 to support my head & the other my waist. When she awoke, she was so guilty. She tot she kicked me off the cushion. HAHA. So cute!



























17th july -



Went to Ming Jin's cell group. He was preaching and suddenly he said 'If God keep on telling u to give up something, it is not that He is trying to take something away from u, u aren't going to lose anything, but He is going to offer u something even better.'










Wows! As he said that, he looked around the room & his gaze ended at me. Tears immediately rolled down my cheeks. It seemed so much like he wants to bring this message across to me.


































20th july -




Went to airport with Ying to wait for Jun Wen. The boy is returning from ShangHai. We reached ard 11pm and waited till 5am. Sat down at Mac & began the powerful girl talk. Ying is so cute. JOE, Ying said she wanna slap me. i heard it as she wanna stab me. HOW?! She wanna slap u sometimes but this is the 1st time she wanna slap me. HAHA.













She was not shy like before. Can talk alot to jun wen, even though she met him only for the 2nd time. We toured around T3 before we took a cab back home. In the cab, Ying was super awake, i was half awake & jun wen was not awake. haha.
















The boy had a fun time there. He asked the orphans whether he is cuter or his fren is cuter. They have got equal votes. Haha. When he sent me the pictures he took there, i will post them up.












He was too shy to have me opened the present in front of him. So i promised to open it when i got home. Was wondering why it was so heavy.











It was a sling bag when i removed it from the plastic bag. Inside the bag was 2 belts, 1 cap, 2 shorts, 2 bangles & 1 jacket. Wows! Everything was size small. So i couldnt fit in 1 of the shorts. He thinks everyone is as small size as him. Well, i'm not. Pls dont overestimate me.













i am happy! :P
