Working Hard
Me: "Can I not work very hard next time when i start work? I just want a job which allows me to work only average hard! Is there such a job?"
JW: "Oh.. In that case, don't worry, 我 养你!"
Me: "Wows! I've been waiting for u to say that lols!"
JW: "I will build u a house... with some hay in it & throw some grass to u every now and then."
The 养你 means to support me as if i am a pet horse! Oh so sad (disappointed)! lols!
Me: "Then u have to clear my shit away.. :P All owners do that!"

The sotongness
Lesson starts at 10 30am today. Yesterday i checked my timetable and thought it is at 9 30am.
I reached school at 9 30am that stops near my lecture hall with my eyes half closed. Rushed to Business Library to print the lecture notes & it is still under renovation. Walked at high speed to the other library to print them, passed many big tall slow walking guys! And hurried all the way back to the lecture hall. Only to find no one inside! So here i am typing this to u with a body full of sweat!
It's only the 2nd day of school! Kill me pls.

Black frame specs without lenses
CNY means spring cleaning!
I managed to make the photos a bit smaller! LOL. It's now the trial and error period.
Was just going through the stuff i bought from Taiwan and remembered the black frame specs (without lenses) that I bought from Wu Fen Pu. I bought the same pair for Miao also! Hope she likes it too!
I love it! I wore it for consecutive 2 days. :)
Here comes the scary pics of me:
(RED ALERT: If u think u can't stand my ugly face, just exit! I won't force u to read on! lols)

I love the studs on the frame. It's been a long long time that i haven't take photos of myself alone. (I told u i was bored at home when simba was out doing his fyp!)

Simba said sometimes he will get a scare when he turned around and saw an unfamilar bespectacled face! lols! He said i look very different.

He loves it (haha as usual, he loves and copies everything i love). I thought he looks like a thief! All he needs is a black and white striped shirt. Muhahahahaha! So bad!

Simba's eyes were too huge and they seem to be protruding out of the frame. lols. I thought it was pretty terrifying.

Michelle Phan & Taiwan Day 4 Part 2
CNY is coming. Gotten your New Year clothes?
I have gotten quite a few online. lols. Becos of the upcoming CNY, many blogshops updated their collections and my hotmail inbox was filled with many updates. Can't resist the temptation and bought 5! :P
I emailed Bi Han the websites and she wanted 1 maxi dress from a particular blogshop badly badly. lols! I said i will go and take a look but she is so funny. She told me not to snatch it from her and she will pay me $2 on top of the original price if i managed to order it ahead of her. And i raised one eyebrow and smiled, "How about $10?" hahahas!
Bi Han and I were helping Stephen make his optical fibers in the lab when I told Bi Han that sometimes some popular blogshops will email us that their collections will be launched the next day at a certain time. And there will be girls waiting by their computers for their launch! After the launch, within minutes the clothes were all taken and pending for payments. Stephen was pretty amazed and said, "It is just like our Star Planner!" lols! The Star Planner is the timetable of NTU where the students with the fastest reflexes (with some luck) can get the classes with the best timing. I always didn't get the class I want cos my reflexes are too slow lols!
Stephen was told by Prof to make 8 fibers and that day he msged me that he needed my help!
Wanted to go to school to ask my pHD student alot of things but didn't in the end cos she went home after I helped Stephen. lols! But it's okie. God said that u only really help someone when it went out of your convenience! Help is only help when u help with your inconvenience. (Sound very chim right!!) God is always so inspiring :P
I ended up helping him do all the work since his hands are big and trembling. lols! He said he has been stressed and lost alot of hair lately. Poor Stephen!
The Rabbit year is going to bring us to greater heights! I was having dinner with Bi Han, Kau Sang and Arsath when Arsath spoke about the rabbit year. All 4 of us happened to be of the Zodiac Rabbit! He was waiting for his friend at the MPH bookstore when he happened to see this book titled "The Rabbit Zodiac, Year 2011". He was curious and went on to read it. He said the Tiger year was a bad year for the Rabbits but we will have a good year this Rabbit year.We can look out for promotions, opportunities etc and all we have to do is to grab the opportunity. He said in great motivation, "This year is our year!!! (followed by many reasons.)" Haha, such a charismatic and positive person.
I am starting my last semester on Wednesday (26th Jan) and I am so thrilled!! :)
Officially i am 7/8 graduated (LOL)!
That Saturday i have been lazing at home watching Michelle Phan's videos! I got to know this make-up professional few months ago while researching online for some skincare.
Michelle Phan is a Vietnamese-American who loves sharing her make-up knowledge to everyone. She posts make up tutorials on YouTube for girls to learn from. I think she is really very talented and gorgeous! In November 2010, Michelle reached 1 million subscribers and became the #1 most subscribed female on YouTube (By wiki).
She is the spokesperson for Lancôme and iQQU Beauty. I like the layout and design of her videos. We can see how much efforts she put in in making those. I really admire her! My new idol lols. She also always recommend products for Asian skins.
She can transform herself into the following looks:
Avatar inspired look. Look at how beautiful the rainbow colours make her eyes to be! Even if I tried, i'm not sure how and when i am going to take to be as expert as her. lols.

BARBIE! Omg! So sweeeeett! :)

Sailor moon! She looks totally anime!

Snow White.

Vampire. Can do it for Halloween :)

Forest Fairy! Lovely work.

Enchanting fairy :P COOOLLLL! How can she be so pro?! She is my age, born on 11th Apr 1987.
Simba was so curious about what i'm doing and he tried to copy me (as usual). He went home that night to watch these videos as well. lols
This Wednesday Bi Han jio me to attend a free make up session by Shiseido in school! We signed up and I'm so looking forward to it. She said we can learn how to use an eyeliner correctly :D
Now Taiwan Day 4 Part 2!

The toilet is pretty too!

We went outside and the staff offered to help us take a photo!

Zoomed to the max for the sign on the roof of the hotel :)
It started to drizzle soon after we left! We walked very quickly back to the station and took a train to Danshui! I couldn't walk anymore after 3 daysof non-stop walking. Was dragging Simba from behind and hunching my back and he kept encouraging me to move on. lols!

Us at Danshui station! We sat at the station to take a rest. We sympathized our poor feet.

The colorful sign!

The map at the station was very helpful. :P These maps have been simba's best friends. Not mine of cos! I can't read maps. lols.

We are here at Danshui Night Market! This market features many souvenirs :)
Simba loves the many toy shops there that sells a very funny toy. This toy is battery operated and shakes its head so violently that it may just drop off anytime. It played music too. Some rock music if i'm not wrong. It freaked me out but Simba spent sometime enjoying the look of it. LOL!
We bought a few bags from one of the stores. The salesman was very friendly. He chatted with us and asked us to add him on facebook. He takes photos of all the tourists that patronized his shop and posts them on facebook, including us. Simba added him but i kept forgetting to add him. I think he has got maybe few thousands friends on his facebook.

By the sea.

The 5 storey Starbucks!

Loving the scenery.

The small museum there. It requires a fee to visit the inside. As we were more interested in shopping, we didn't go in. I was looking at the ninja turtle on display.

This is the ninja turtle! It has a odd-shaped shell.

Me and the scary gorilla! I tend to look fairer overseas and it's still a mystery.
Perhaps i look fairer when i am happier? lols! I look like a hungry zombie.

Simba bought 2 caps, one for himself and the other for his bro.

The temple we passed by.

We got hungry and was so happy to see this famous Ah Gei shop! :P
I wrote in the iternary but didn't source for it when we reached. Was too tired to walk. But we found it!!

The portion was small. Simba seemed to only eat the ru rou fan haha.

The drinks were given by the hot spring hotel.
FREE and so we kapo them and carried them all the way to Danshui.

Simba saw the photo i took with Si Ting long ago in Thailand where both of us attempted to jump into the sea from the boat we were riding. lols! He wanted me to do it again.

After much shopping, we went back and it was past 12! :P

My things were all over the place.

But Simba took pride in his new things. He tried the new shirts on, folded them nicely after that and placed them neatly on the chair.
AWWW! I miss Taiwan! It was too bad i'm busy this hols becos of fyp.
Maybe this year going somewhere nice with simba.
My 'twin' (the girl who looks like me) recently got a bf and they went to Hong Kong.
I saw her facebook photos and felt like going Hong Kong too!!

Taiwan Day 4
Simba introduced me to a PS3 game called Heavy Rain few days back. Yesterday i was at his house playing it the whole day after school lols.
Heavy Rain's story is a dramatic thriller modeled after film noir, featuring four protagonists involved with the mystery of the Origami Killer, a serial killer who uses extended periods of rainfall to drown his victims. Ethan Mars is a father who is trying to save his son from being the next victim, while investigative journalist Madison Paige, FBI profiler Norman Jayden, and private detective Scott Shelby are each trying to track down clues to the Origami Killer's identity. (from Wikipedia)
I love it! It is like CSI ~

I changed my blog template again. Hope all of u like it! I like it very much. Decided not to put my tagboard here since there has been alot of spammers. But U are welcome to leave a comment below! :) Please let me know if my template is uncomfortable to your eyes. I have also put older posts' link below in case u missed any previous posts. I shall try to update more frequently.
Still thinking whether I should put my blog as public. Since i took a long time doing an entry, i may as well let more people see. Well.. just let me consider...
Here to blog about my Taiwan trip. I know it was 6 months ago but i promised simba i will finish blogging about it :) Here to keep my promise.

Our Latte from 7-11. We love the tea and coffee there! Creative designs and many varieties! :P They tasted much much better than the food.

Everyday we took a picture in the lift. Kind of make it like a routine.

The hotel that looks very ancient.

Looking at our iternary! I am so proud of it since i did it by my efforts of research and simba modified it to be more organised and aappealing to the eyes. I guess that's why simba followed strictly to the schedule. lols. He kept on hurrying me!! I love the drink he is holding too.

We randomly picked a breakfast house :) Simba ordered some weird noodles but he was persistent to finish it. Omg, what a horrible taste to start the day with. Being on the safe side, i only eat the scrambled egg with soy sauce from the 2nd morning onwards. The food has proven to be not of my taste. :P

Simba writing down our orders. ;)

This was the weird noodles. He was stunned by the taste!

My ordinary scrambled egg.

We wanted to go the Palace Museum since we applied for the Youth Card and it gives discounts to the visit to this museum :D We got off at ShiLin station and spotted this shop. Bought many many accessories from here.

Interesting shops. Creative! I don't think it's a pet shop. Just some accessories shop.

We took a bus over!

But got off at the wrong stop. haha.

With my newly bought hair tye.

Decide to walk towards our destination. Passed by a big kindergarden on the way.

And also the natives park. The fake slide. U could burn your butt sliding down.

When we finally reached. Likes this photo! Prefect angle.

Yeah he climbed up for the photo with the lion. Quite dangerous i think!

LOL!

We climbed many stairs before we finally reached the top where the museum is situated. Exhausted. Hence, the view is pretty magnificent! Love it. We will never see it in SG.

Top: Our Youth Travel Card.
Bottom: Admission Ticket
And our admission is just SGD$4! The original price was around SGD8 to SGD12!
Wasn't allowed to take photos in the museum. :( Sian 1/2. I always go against the law by sneakily taking out my camera but was caught by security haha. So paiseh!
So we didn't stay long in it since we are more excited going shopping later on haha.

We tried to go by the back of the museum and take a shortcut so that we don't have to walk down the many stairs back again. It was simba's idea and i felt rather unsafe about it but just have to trust him lols.

We walked along the narrow road, occasionally keeping away from the huge buses.

We finally reached a bus stop after the long long walk. And the bus took very long to come.

When we were back at ShiLin station, we wandered around hoping to find something nice to eat. Since we would be heading to a hot spring place later where dessert would be served, we only wanted to eat something light. And we found this dumpling cafe. lols.

We thought that if we write quantity as 1, they would serve 3 dumplings in a plate. But we were terribly wrong. lols. It was really 1 dumpling! Its price for 1 dumpling is about SGD0.90 and we thought it was 3 for SGD0.90. We were so over the moon until the few dumplings came. Miserable portion. lols.

Luckily i ordered sour spicy noodles too! It's nice.. Finally one that deserves our praises. But i have tasted in SG so it wasn't like a surprise for me.

The curry and prawn guo tie! We LOVE it. Something new for us.

The 4 dumplings with 4 different flavors.

After that we went to BeiTou station. As you know, it's famous for hot springs.

And saw this cute exhibit at the station. We had to wait our turns to take a photo! There were too many tourists.

The train from Beitou to Xinbeitou has many cute prints on them.

We were so inquisitive about what this machine in the train does. So high tech.
It shows u the map of where the hot springs are.

Many locals look pretty bewildered by what we were doing. we just kept taking photos with the machine. Well.. It's human nature to take it for granted when things are closer to us i guess.
Like if i saw tourists outside Ngee Ann City taking photos with the lion, i would be puzzled too. Everytime see i also sian already lols.

Cute sign!

At Xinbeitou molesting the statues.

We looked as though we are going to conquer some rock climbing obstacles behind us.

Simba ran out of money lols! We tried this machine. haha. We can enter our pin number but no money came out. We thought there is a Masters card sign on it that looks totally like Singapore's?! Life is confusing.

After a pretty long walk, we reached The Four Seasons Hotel to have the hot spring. Ling's recommendation. It was such a grand hotel.

And after that, we were invited for a dessert at their cafe.

The dessert took about half an hour to arrive. We were wondering whether they forgot about it. We smiled at the waitress and she smiled back. I'm not sure whether it is an act of guilt or ignorance? lols. We were thinking we were the only customers in the cafe and if they forgot, they would be really blur.

My hair was wet from the hot spring. The hotel provided me with a hair clip and i just anyhow clip my hair up. Hence the messy hair.

The coffee suspended from the coffee machine has this kind of pattern when mixed with milk. Cool spiral pattern.

I took plenty of these packets back home. lols! It's free what!

Our dessert. We began to ponder why these food took so long to be prepared. Maybe they were waiting for watermelon to be ripe. lols.

I shall stop here for the moment. Photobucket has not been able to load the rest of my photos. -_-""
Continuing soon! :)
