A pinhole of my life.

When u fall sick, u will be so super touched.
Some frens buy back lunch for u.
Some carry your bag for u.
Some help u hand in your homework.
Some do your lab work for u.
Others asked whether u are fine.
Wow! i am so touched!
The past week i got so uncomfortable but luckily i have got a group of caring frens! Someone said i looked like a zombie. Chinese Zombies jump k? And Ang Moh zombies dont walk like me.
i am finally recovering. woo hoo!










My 3 bags snap as i brought heavy things to school. hahas. i borrowed bags from ting and joanne and stalled some time to get a new one. My classmates are so smart. They knew the bags aren't mine as they aren't my style. hahas.







I bought a green 'gola' bag! I haven got a sling bag for 2 years liaos. Hope i will get used to it. Wanted to get a back pack so that my shoulder wont hurt so much. But i look like a tortoise! Shit!






Went out with my spanish class yest. My Spanish teacher, a Columbian (South American), wanted to take us to a restuarant that serves good Spanish food in Clarke Quay. Name of the restuarant is 'Tapas Tree'. We ended up eating at Mahanttan Fish Market instead. Cos there weren't any seats available in Tapas Tree and we have 18 people. What a letdown! i neber tried Spanish food before, but of course except nachos.





I want to try Tapas Tree on my 21st bdae! Any frens on?





Something funny happened in our conversation with our Spanish teacher. Having heard that he lived in New York for 10 years, my classmate wanted to tell him whether a certain place in New York is safe. She would be going to New York for 3 weeks after exams.










Yoke Wen: Is that place safe?
Our teacher: Oh, it is safe. Nice place. Beautiful.
Yoke Wen: Oh really? i heard that there are gunshots everywhere. Is it true?
Our teacher: Ya, it has always been. People got shot all the time. It's normal. i seen people got shot before. Well, it is perfectly fine.






SHOCKED* He actually said that people getting shot is fine. We, the Singaporeans would be terrified if people get shot in Singapore.












Then he added on: Oh, just dont make eye contact with them.
Yoke Wen: Oh No! i have to look at the ground all the time!
he continued: Oh. u just have to buy a nice pair of shades!

HAHAHAHA. GREAT IDEA!
