Went to Science Centre as Jun Wen has received 2 free Omnimax theatre tickets from his company. The last time I went to Omnimax Theatre was when I was in Primary School. I forgot what show it was screening at that time, let alone did I remember what I learnt. I only recalled losing my spectacles and felt really bad about it the whole day. Lol.
Have u forgotten how Omni-Theatre look like? I can't remember too. Until I went into it. It was a dome-shaped screen. It creates an illusion that u are a part of the show. And as the show went on, u felt like u were moving along with the waters in the screen. It made me want to vomit though. I have carsick remb? Had to close my eyes sometimes to take a break from the motion pictures.

Taken outside Science Centre.
One of the shows screening in Omni-Theatre: Flying Monsters.

As we entered the Science Centre, this electronic dinosaur was moving its head and tail.
Couldn't capture a complete shot of this dino since it was too huge. :D

I wanted to watch Flying Monsters while Jun Wen was more interested in Amazing Caves. It was only 3pm in the noon and the showtime for Flying Monsters was 6pm, and 8pm for Amazing Caves. I told Jun Wen that we can try buying Flying Monsters ticks first, and he agreed. But these tickets were sold out when we got to the ticketing counter. I wondered if Jun Wen was involved in secretly praying for the tickets to be sold out.

We headed to Jcube, the new mall at Jurong East while waiting for the 8pm show. We also conveniently took photos with other Omnimax theatures.

And since our show would start only at 8pm, we went to JCube, a newly opened mall by Capitaland in Jurong East. Not all shops in it were opened yet. The new ice rink was opened! A hockey game was on-going when we passed by. Crowds of people were all around the ice rink.

Went into an unique store in JCube. This store came up with a new creative idea of having shoppers shop for shoes placed on racks. You can go to the section that has shoes your size, take a pair of shoes from the shoebox and try it. If u like it, u take the shoebox and pay for it. Shopping has never been easier.

I got really hungry in the early evening since I had a very light lunch. I always wanted to try Watami. I forgot who recommended me Watami food since my impression of it stayed great.
We had to queue before going in since the restaurant only began its operations at 5 plus.

And here we were. I didn't know that they didn't really have main courses in the menu. They were mostly varieties of side dishes. Hence, we decided on a Special Set for 2 at $59.

Stove for the Hot Pot.

He was sleeping while waiting for the food to come. Lol. He has been waking up early these days.

The above were parts of the whole set. We got really full halfway. The food was awesome but the portion was too big! We had to ask the waitress to pack our pizza for us to take home.
And finally it was 8pm and we were ready to go into the theatre.

It was too bad that no photography was allowed in the theatre.
:D
It was again a new experience in the theatre. A bit about the show:
Journey Into Amazing Caves tells the story of Nancy Aulenbach and Dr. Hazel Barton, who share a love for caves and cave exploration. Join these two accomplished cavers as they explore unusual caves, like ice caves in Greenland and underwater caves in the jungles of Mexico, looking for important clues about the Earth's past and microorganisms that inhabit its most extreme environments. On the giant screen, this unique story will transport viewers on an adventure to some of the most extraordinary environments on earth.
Took a few more photos when we came out of the theatre.
It was an very graphical exhibition on the planets in our universe.

Tell u a secret: I am recently learning not to always strike a stiff pose whenever the camera is pointing at me.
I try to put one leg ahead of the other. Lol.

I bought these very cute hair accessories from a store in JCube. They were having a 30% off storewide.
Love the unique designs, since a band consists of two "decorations". I thought I didn't see those anywhere in Sg.

This is how the hair tye looks like on your hair.
The volume of the decoration gets big. Lol.

CS bought us an elephant keychain each from Bangkok! Lol. We were pretty touched and surprised that he did buy us something since before he left for Bangkok he told us not to dream of him buying anything for us. Lol.
I am satisfied with how this photo turned out to be.
