We celebrated our 4th year together last Sunday. I postponed it by 2 months, so to be exact we have been together for 50 months! :D I'm still enjoying every bit of the relationship and am awaiting to share the rest of my life with him!
We went for breakfast at his favourite food centre in Old Airport Road. We ordered beancurd from Happy Boy Soya Bean.
The previous time we went to the food centre this man went around the place and asked for people to test his beancurd samples. He showed sincerity in getting us to like his beancurd, so I was pretty moved and we went to get some despite how much we wanted to get the Lao Ban beancurd. Lol. This Happy Boy beancurd actually tasted much like Lao Ban's so we really didn't mind.

His Polo Tee wasn't one of those in the night markets from Thailand. He got it from a boutique in Siam Square. I think it absolutely brings out his style!
Just like every other trip we went to, as long as he is planning the itinerary, he would urge me to speed up my actions. Hence, I couldn't eat in peace with him constantly reminding me on how punctual we must be for the next event.
Our next event was the Harry Potter Exhibition at the ArtScience Museum! I've been wanting to go there since ages but because of the bad knees, I couldn't. Finally the knees are working after I got tired of resting at home and putting on lots of weight. Lol.

Simba purchased the tickets in advance. Do we really have to buy them ahead of the day we are going? If so, I am greatly impressed by the overwhelming reception from Harry Potter. The exhibition premiered way back but if even now we still have to book our ticks, I think it is kind of exaggerated. But ya, it is Harry Potter, I shouldn't be that surprised since readers queued up to buy the book on the day of its launch.

At Shoppes at MBS.
I like my reflection and the reflection of the other man taking a photo of the LV building outside the mall.

It was very sunny and windy. I'm squinting my eyes in the face of the sun. Look at my shadow and my swaying dress. I think the additional 2 out of 6 kilograms that I have gained went to my face. LOL. I felt my face go thicker and rounder.

No photography was permitted in the exhibition. :(
Hence, at the entrance a museum staff was promoting a booklet that contains the contents of the exhibition. It costs $30! We forgo the initial thought of buying it since we aren't exactly Harry Potter fans.

Outside where we waited for entry were a row of Harry Potter movie posters, right from young cute Harry Potter to the now grown suave man!
The Exhibition was worth going for. I got teased by Simba for not knowing a single bit of the movie even though I watched 3 series! Lol. Instead, I learnt more from the exhibits. I'm so apologetic about it! Most of the time my mind was elsewhere when I watched them. Remembered falling asleep watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I heard that Harry Potter is a love or hate thing. Either u are a great fan of it or u don't get it. LOL.

The board where visitors can paste their small notes of wishes for Harry's Potter's birthday!
We bought the same t-shirt, with each costing $50. Omg. On it was a printed logo of all 4 houses in the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, namely Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin and we love it. I didn't know those houses existed till the very day of the exhibition when the museum staff introduced me to it in her pretend British accent. Lol. Simba was pretty disappointed with me for not knowing anything!
This time I didn't take photos secretly of the exhibits as we were constantly reminded not to take any photos and that if we were caught, we would be asked to leave the museum premises immediately so I adhered to the rules for the first time.

We also have gotten ourselves a photo of us with the Hogwarts Express train as background. There were 6 backgrounds to choose from and all of them were so nice that we had a difficult time making a choice. Simba always let me choose everything and I always had to narrow the choices to 2 to 3 so that he can make a choice for me since I often couldn't make up my mind.
Then he took me to lunch at Jack's Place as his company offered him a $10 voucher for dining in Jack's Place.

That was my 2nd time to Jack's Place. I remembered liking the food the 1st time I was there, probably because it was a treat from my friend's uncle. Free food is always good food! He was grateful that I helped his nephew alot, by being his orientation mentor in Singapore. Lol.
I really really like the food this time too!

Him looking at the voucher making sure that we are entitled for the discount. Lol.
No photos was taken of me since I was sitting in the direction of the glaring sun. :(

I should head down to Jack's Place at Nex more frequently since the food is great. That is, after I have successfully benefited from my dieting.
What came as a big surprise afterward was the Saltimbanco by Cirque Du Soleil performance. I followed his lead until we reached the Stadium Station. And wow! Simba actually planned to watch a circus performance with me. Lol. For a person who sleeps in cinemas and musicals, this is the last thing I ever thought he would do!

He did sleep for awhile though. Couldn't think of anyone else who would spend money to take a nap. Lol.
Following are a few photos (ultimate zoom) I took of the performance before I was caught. LOL.

This was only the first bit of the bending, stretching and swinging. It gets more and more captivating with the performers challenging limits. One performer would stand on the other who stands on the other.. U get the picture. :D

A showcase of the circus performers' costumes.

Thanks to the boyfriend, I got a chance to see people swinging around live for the first time. Lol.

My anniversary present: a purse from Samantha Vega, my most preferred brand! I love Samantha Vega stuff. They are so sweet and cute!
And I have got two more photos to show before I end this post!

DJ bought me an iPhone case. It seems like everyone likes buying me phone cases. Lol.
I felt so loved! Couldn't be more thankful! I mean I am already appreciative that she is so patient with me in helping me in my work. :D U see.. No matter how much I want to leave my job, there are people I can't bear to leave behind.
I would help DJ till she graduates from her PhD studies! Meanwhile, I will give my fullest at work. :D
(The background is my newly bought Topshop dress! U know I seldom buy from shops after I found online shopping but decided to pamper myself a little since I have just gotten my tuition fees! Actually I wanted to take advantage of the GSS and shop for discounted stuff but couldn't find anything I like. I could only find this, which is a new arrival and hence not part of the bargain in GSS. But it's fine it's fine I would tell myself.)
Last thing:
Went with Joe for blood donation yesterday. :D
I realised it's been a year since I last donated blood. Felt a sense of guilt when the realization first came to me. I have been sick or injured almost every other day since the beginning of this year, so couldn't donate! Nevertheless, was glad that I made my 7th donation. Yeah!

They gave me my personalized blood donor card and I was very very thrilled about it!
Have you donated blood yet? U should start if u haven't. Our bloodbank is always in need of blood.
:)
