Wei Der's fish passed away.


A week ago, on its way from wei der's office to my home, it fell sick. One of its eyes popped out. We thought that it will recover fast under more care. Wei Der went to buy some medicine to treat it. It became inactive and sad. It also eats a little or doesnt eat at all.








Then a few days later, its whole body became swollen. Then Wei Der told me that the fish forum said swollen body is like the last stage of cancer. It only has a few days to live.






We only have 2 ways:

1. Place it in the fridge and let it freeze (hibernate) and form into ice. It will suffer a less painful death.
2. Leave it as it is. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.







But i refused to give it up, holding hopes that it will recover.
Maybe it hasn't give up on itself so we must not give it up. Maybe tiny fish has the tiny will to live.








That few days, i watched it swim painfully. Its back tail is twisted and it relied only on its 2 small front fins to swim. It moved a inch or doesnt move at all sometimes. So i guessed maybe every movement it takes needs alot of energy and pain. Somemore it doesnt have much energy left. It doesnt eat anything.








Often i looked at it trying to find an answer. "Poor fishy.. Can u tell me wat to do? Do u need me to 'kill' u?"








Before i went to work, i will have a last look at it. i am afraid that when i came home from work, it is dead. Then when i came home before i went into my room, i will pray that i wont see it die.












That very day, Wei Der decided to come my house to diagnose it. When i reached home, i went washing my hands and feet while he went straight away to see fishy.











i saw wei der shaking the tank and using his thumb and index finger to hit the tank. i had this very bad intuition.


"IS IT DEAD?"
"Yes.. it is.." He said calmly.








i felt a sudden stab into my heart. WEEPS









it sunk and aimlessly floating with the 'tide' wei der brought to the water.
We took some photos of it and then Wei der poured it into the toilet bowl. After he pressed the 'flush' button, i saw wei der close his eyes. Fishy is gone.. Forever.











Wei Der was sitting and staring into blank after that. When i finally talked to him, he went back to his silly jokes. Then he asked me to pray.. Pray for fishy's peace in heaven.








i still cant get over fishy.
maybe i shld let it freeze.. this way it dont have to suffer a few more days before it finally passed away..









Losing someone so close to my heart hurts.. Till now.. the sight of fishy sinking in the tank kept appearing in my mind. If only i could turn back time and make fishy come back to me...

Some random events:

Joanne and i promised each other that we will use the com and tv till they explode during sch hols. To make up for our loss of entertainment during sch days.

i kept my promise and watched '200 pounds beauty' on You Tube.

I wanted to watch 'Saw' with Wei Der too. But after few mins of watching, both of us cant stand the 'pain' the film is bringing us then one of us just click on the 'x' sign on the top right hand corner of the monitor screen. SAW 4 is really painful! We tried watching 3 times but cant finish watching it. HAHAHA

I bought Wei Der 6 magical beans:

Cos Wei Der likes to plant. But whenever he tried planting, he failed all the time. His onions, ginger and bean sprouts all die. Only his cactus grew as tall as me. i tink cos cactus watched 'Survival' b4. Oh not funny i know.

But then this time, the magical beans grew into sprouts:




The messages are still on the parts of the sprouts. Interesting huhs.













Then after few days, more grew.
And leaves are formed too.










Felt a sense of satisfaction (even though i'm not involved in planting)!!














Wei Der won the 12th prize in his company's Dinner and Dance. It is an OSIM u-zap machine.
He exchanged it with his colleague for a Olympus FE150 Digital Cam (7th prize).

His colleague didnt want to exchange initially. But after he told him that i longed wanted a digital cam, he gave in. i was quite surprised and touched when wei der told me that.












i tink he knows that the OSIM thing will make me laugh like mad. (i was very scared of itchyness, Joanne, Wen King and Si Ting know!!)

.. Actually i wanted to tell wei der that my girl frens are holding 8 Mega Pixels Digi Cam.. But i kept quiet as i didnt want to hurt him.














Until that day.. He went to Sim Lim Square to find out the price of this Digi Cam.. The uncle was shocked when he asked about FE150. He was like:








"That model is very very old liaos le.. About 4 years ago.. We sell it at $99 now.. And we gave it as a free gift sometimes. Our latest model is FE280!"










i could clearly see wat is written on Wei Der's face. It starts with a 'p' and ends with a 'h'

P-A-I-S-E-H















That shows how budget STVE (Wei Der's company) is.
Hahas. But i told him as long as we can use it, it's okie with me. i am not so into electronic gadgets.
i dont need mp3, mp4, ipods, PSP, laptop..

i decided to give away my secondary sch clothes to RC or Salvation Army. Wei Der said he will help me carry them. i counted and there are 77 of them!

My younger bro followed suit and digged out 7:

HAHA. I guess one big difference between boys and girls are the amt of clothes they have!


















I finally had a taste of Fordue (Is it spelled like this?)

I like bananas dipped in chocolate!

I like waffles dipped in chocolate!

I like strawberry ice creams dipped in chocolate!

Woo HooOOO! i knew wat to do next time if i have 3 frens with me. HAHAs.

I went pasar malam and played pin ball!







There are different holes for the balls to go in. Different holes have different scores.















40 balls (1 basket) for $3
80 balls (2 baskets) for $5.

I was ambitious to get points to win a soft toy so i got myself 80 balls!

i decided to take a photo of the display and just nice, we hit a score of 333.

We got a final score of 376 and won ourselves not a soft toy.. But a Sponge Bob Square Pants balloon. hahas. Sorry lahs.. i am down in luck lately.

And 2 last things:







I saw this 3D display in Bugis junction. Very nice right? The statue will turn round and round like a ballerina in a musical box. Sponsored by Soo Kee Jewellery. i bet her tiera costs thousands!!






And Ying and i were walking in Plaza Sing when we were asked by 2 Canon Salesgirls whether they can take a photo of us and print it for us. The Digi Cam can connect to the photo Canon printer and our photo were printed out instantly! They are doing a roadshow for the printer i guess.

Hey guys, remb to bring your jackets out these days! it's been raining. i always forget and my head hair always stand.









The mrt (North South and East West line) recently had their voice recorder changed. The woman's voice now become much more gentle. Is it because of competition from SBS Transit (North East line) that SMRT has to come up with more innovative ideas?







Hahas. And one of their ideas is actually to change the recorder.
Pretty interesting!

i was weeping all throughout the movie. Terrorist attacks can be so terrifying! i'm so disgusted by those suicide bombers, they got nothing better to do that they have to exchange their lives for more lives.








Cooperation between the Americans and the Saudis (Saudi Arabia's citizens) can be funnie. The Americans are rude and full of vulglarities while the Saudis are gentle and reglious. Americans harsh and direct, Saudis careful and serious.








The Americans were "F-*-*-*-i-n-g" all the way and got the Saudis irritated.











i tink that is why poly wants us to learn 'Communication skills for cultural difference'. How to settle business deals with people of other countries.

Like..





Japanese hates late people. They can discuss for hours in meetings but came to no conclusion in the end. They like to settle deals over a drink in bars.








Mexicans can be late for hours for an appointment
with u. They probably met their families for lunch and shopping before meeting u. They tink that family ties are more important than anything else.









Germans dont like u to ask about their private life. They feel offended when u ask whether they are married or how many children they have. They tink it is intruding their privacy.






Does it mean that we have to know more vulglarities to bond with the Ang Mohs?
Hahas.







My new time table is out. And my 21st bdae is during exams. OH GREAT! :(

Sch Hols is a great time to catch up with all of your frens.






i am working lesser and meeting more people up! There's only 1 mth so must treasure it. Hehes. Spent some time with wei der, ying , joanne, wen king and my cousins already.










More gatherings to go. Sec sch, poly and uni frens!














Peng Aik has been very kind to organise pri sch class gathering but it's either i'm working or meeting up other frens.

Trust me, Wei Der just accompany me when i reach home. I study and he just do his stuff.





And my parents wont give me any penny even when i said i'm dying of hunger. HAHA. They need me to earn my own $.







I get tired quite easily so pls give me sometime to sleep during sch days.




And pls, i listen to wei der's views and never take him for granted hor.
