My roommate just bought a Chinchila!

Cute isn't it? Makes me wanna get one too!

This looks like a hamster, a rabbit and a squirrel to me. It doesn't produce a smell. It is even toilet trained. It can jump and run very fast.

Sometimes i think my room mate is weird. Haha. But come to think of it, she is actually quite nice. She is considerate and tries her best to be a better roommate to me. But sometimes i really dunno what to talk to her. I know that she feels kind of sad that i am quite shy and quiet in front of her and her bf.

She lives in a complete different world. She plays online games and watch dramas everyday. She can don't go for classes for weeks. Haha. And she wears very little in the room! She is quite boyish and has many boy friends. She told her bf bizzare things sometimes.

One thing i really like about her is that she is very expressive. A very real girl to everyone. She didn't hide any feelings. Even though she didn't know me very well, but she dared to talk to her chinchila in front of me.

At 1st i was feeling quite awkward staying in the same room as her. Now i kind of get used to it. One tip to get less awkward with her: Be interested in her life. Be interested in her dramas, games and chinchila! She will be more than happy to talk about herself. Just keep asking her questions! Haha.

Jun wen and i went to buy '28 days later' and '28 weeks later' DVDs. i am in for a big scare! Haha.

I got myself two electives this semester.

They are 'Accounting' and 'What is Cinema?'

I wanted to take a subject in my 3 mths holidays so that i dont have to take 2 electives this semester. But that particular subject costs $500. And cant pay by CPF. So decided not to in the end.










Luckily i got the electives i wanted. Accounting lessons are great. But the module itself is difficult. A very detailed kind of subject. i wasn't in the same class as Bi Han or Sharon. We were to form groups the first time i went for class. And i was glad that after all these years of maturity, i felt more comfortable talking to strangers. HAHA.







In the 'What is Cinema' lectures, we got to learn more about film making. I like i like~ The difference between novels and films.

Jun wen got 'From Bollywood to Hollywood'. Every lesson he goes to, he watches films. Indian films and Ang moh films. So nice! And the exam format is only multiple choice. Next semester i'm going to take that elective as well.









Wanted to let go of something i long wanted to. Becos of too many fears i have for the future. That day i was in hostel i met my brother on msn. But after talking to him, i decided not to give up. i was crying in front of the screen. And luckily Yvonne, my roommate, was sleeping. After taking a walk with jw in the campus, i felt better.









i have to trust myself. Trust what's planned for my future. Trust that happiness will still be there.









I got myself a new tutee. It is getting more and more challenging as a tutor. A Pri 1 boy this time. He lives in a blk next to Jun wen's. I spent ages settling him down before i got him to do some work. He ran around the room and talked endlessly. I had to keep carrying him back to the chair. And he kissed my arms all the time. He dripped his saliva on himself sometimes. And he spit saliva while he talked. I felt full of saliva after each session. His mum gave me a cane but i didnt want to cane someone else's child.










It will be a different thing if i have my own child. Well.. I hope tt he or she will be someone obedient and cute. haha. i hope that i won't overpamper him or her. My mum used to tell me if i want anything, i had to save money to buy it. I remembered saving $5.90 per week to buy a fairytale storybook. Sometimes i saved $20 to buy a barbie doll. Hehe. So i shall do just that to my kid.








The last lesson i had with him, his mum was beside us, caning him every now and then.






Now i know why i was overpaid. $18 per hr isn't easy money. i got a hyperactive tutee.








I went for an interview with jun wen to apply to be a student helper in school. $7 per hour for 3 days of open house. Carry goodie bags from one place to another. Got student ambassador position also. But i dont like telling the crowd, "This is our lecture hall, this is the toilet..." Haha.











But i got rejected!! And jun wen got in. Haha, think i don't look strong to my interviewer. Next year i will train some muscles before i go for the interview again. Hehe.

Xiang wanted to show Jun wen a book he saw in our school library. It was titled 'Dating Violence'. Hahaha.

Jun Wen and i were selling pineapple for school for charity! i just mass msg my sec sch friends & shellen and 99% gave us support. So happy that there are friends around me. Friends that i know that will always be there for me. :)






I was rushing to leave the house to watch Red Cliff 2 with Jun Wen and his friend. The movie starts at 3pm in AMK. And it was 2 20pm and i am still at home. But my younger bro insisted to have me do a 9 question personality test before i leave the house. I told him that i already know myself very well and need not take this test. But he still insist. He said I would be so surprised by the results.








Ok ok, being a little soft-hearted, i quickly did the test. Indeed, i was surprised by the results. They are so true. They are so me!

1st Jan -

New Year's Day!
Went to the National Museum with Simba as it is open house and admission is free! Then we went K boxing. Photos will be up soon.










2nd Jan -

Watched BedTime Stories with Ling. I still dunno why many said the movie wasn't nice. Ling and i thought it was nice.










Then went Eski bar to find ting, daniel, samuel, jason, wei jian and song hua. I drank a cocktail 'Comfort Zone' . It is Bailey, Strawberries, milk and sugar. I remembered Shi Xin first recommended me Bailey and i love it. Again, photos will be up soon. Haha.













7th jan -





Jun wen and i went up to Xiao Jiao's and Yu Zhuang's room to play cards. I think out of every 10 games of dai dee i lost 8. U know i am not good at playing cards. And i drank cranberry juice with alcohol. Xiao Jiao claimed that her 'Bombay Sapphire' has 47% alcohol content. ya 47%! Sure enough, i started to talk and laugh louder. Having a big headache.











Then Priscia and Amelia joined us. So we had Asshole Dai Dee. The ultimate loser is the Asshole, followed by the prostitute, then the commoners before the Queen and King. The King is the winner.










We played till the last game and Yu Zhuang became the ultimate loser, the asshole..









And so...

8th jan -

Sylvia opened my room door and dashed in. She was so drunk and dragged me out of the room to drink with them. She hugged me and wished me happy bdae. i was lucky that the security guard came by and i sneaked back into my room.

Hostel life is getting more interesting with jun wen's friends. But most of them can't remember my name. They call me 'Jun Wen's gf'. Diaos! He said i am living in his shadow. Sad.

28th Dec


I went to help out in the blood donation drive. To give donors snacks while they wait for their turns. And i went to donate blood too. Hehe.











I had to fill up a very long form and pasted a sticker "Please be nice and gentle. This is my first donation" on my left arm.








Then i went for doctor screening.
He took my weight and verified that the things i wrote on the form. The last question he asked before he direct me to the next station was, "Are u well today? Are u well yesterday?"








I sat down at the next station and the nurse took my hand. One staff then asked me whether i want to donate my blood bone marrow sample. I just have to give a small blood sample and they would see if i am a suitable blood marrow donor to any patient. My middle finger was pricked to test for my blood type.







And they placed a small plaster around my finger and i was taken to the last station.








At the last station:

I was so cold and shivering. I had 3 blankets over me. (The others only had 1 to cover their legs.) The nurse was very worried that i will faint during the donation because i was too cold. She also tried very hard to make my vein show. She told me if she had to search for the vein in my arm after the needle went in, bruises would show on my arm.











i became very very worried abt the pain that was going to come. I thought i was going to cry and then faint. But it turned out to be not painful at all. Trust me, i am a person who cant stand any amt of pain. The small needle doesn't cause any pain. It numbed my arm before the bigger needle went in. And i felt absolutely nothing.






Phew! Now i have gotten over my fear. And next time i can donate blood without any worries.



After the packet was filled with my blood, i was told to lie down for 10 mins. And the nurse told me i just save 3 lives!




i was amazed that i didnt faint. Charlene told me that my younger bro fainted twice or thrice after giving blood to 1/4 of the packet. And his blood was thrown away. i still dont understand why they cant use that 1/4 of blood to help people.



Charlene was there to support me. She talked to me all the while to divert my attention.





Charlene told me to give her a big smile.








29th Dec


Jun Wen and i went to opposite his house for ice cube cafe for ice cream. Because he lived near the rich people(Thomson Area), opposite his house were the pubs, cafes, supermarkets, massage centres and restuarants.




I realised that when i wasn't talking, i will look emo. i was born without a smiley face.







'Dinosaur Egg'. Milo powder, Marsh mallows, chocolate powder and vanilla ice cream.

Simba said we must place the candle right below our chins. I refused as i didnt want to look like a scary ghost.

30th Dec





Met up with Simba, Xiang and Carine.
We went to the jap restuarant that Carine recommend. It is at Liang Court.

A big plate of bittergourd. HAHA. i discovered Carine's secret tt day. But i was told not to disclose tt she can .......... (i cant continue or i may get silenced.)

That restuarant looks like a goat farm. The clothes hangers are for hanging our bags.

Xiang said Chin Siang, Qing Yao and him could foresee how fierce i am going to be when i got married. They kept imitating me behind my back.







He said next time when he called Jun wen at night, i would snatch the phone away from jun wen and said, "Xiang, u have already talked to my dear dear for 3 mins le lei. 3 WHOLE MINS LE! He need to get some sleep de hor."





And next time when he came to our house for mahjong, i will glare at junwen and hurry Xiang home after sometime. "Xiang ah, u know now is 11pm, it is pm hor, not am. I know u tml dont need to go work but my dear dear tml got work lei.."




And when he asked junwen out for a drink, i will tell xiang, "Xiang, u better not let him come home so late hor. i will not be tt happy if he did.." Blah blah blah..

HAHAHAHA. He still continued to quote more examples. So funny. I seemed like a monster to them. And jun wen seemed so henpecked to them. HAHAHAHA.
