28th may -

The circle line is opened. The travel time from Marymount to Serangoon is 6 mins! Not the usual 45 mins to one hr! Serangoon station has the largest travellator. Technology rocks!












29th may -

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO US! :)
Jun Wen is treating me to Paris buffet tomorrow. $39.50 per pax. YEAHS! God bless him.
I already told my colleagues i'm going to eat so little during our lunch break.
Maybe one day he will take me to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower.

And eat the real Paris buffet! Omg, i am getting greedy. Oh God pls forgive me. i didnt mean to harbour that thought of greediness.

Fathers' Day is coming. i am buying dad a set of VCDs of Meteor Garden Korean version (boys over flowers). HAHAHAHAHAHA. He sure is a big fan of Meteor Garden! He will love it man. HAHAHA.

I like the guy on the most right. he is hua zhe lei!

Recently i have been asked to register only patients who have fever, flu or cough. Thus, i only register abt 50 patients per day. I used to register 500 patients. So i get really bored!!!!! i surfed the net for the whole day. Slack sia. i am a big fat worm. Sit there and do nothing!

But scared sia. Every time i touched them, i rubbed my hands with the disinfectant. Fever is the most painful thing that can ever happen in my life and i wish i will never have it!

Jun Wen had fever the past 2 days. I think the patients passed fever to me but i am immune. And i passed it to him. HAHAHAHA. If only this is true, i will not be afraid of getting it anymore!

GSS! The most active period of my life. It's time to shop till I drop!

The circle line mrt will be opened on the 28th of may. Yeahs! Marymount will be opened too. And i will take less than 10 mins to reach jun wen's house. Both of us are so excited about it!! Circle line rocks! Next time i go to school, i can take circle line to buona vista.









22nd may -

My bet with jun wen ends today and i won! DEAR, WHERE IS MY 2 SAKURAS AND 1 PARIS INTERNATIONAL BUFFET TREATS?! i am thinking about my shark fin's soup and sushi and duck meat and .........







I got my exam results! A bit of a shock. But haha never mind.








My lab grade is 1 grade lower than jun wen's.He got A+ and i got A. Cant be!! We submit the same lab report every week (because he did some of the questions while i did the rest.) He edits my poor English also. HAHAHAHA.









And there is only one difference. He binds one of the reports while i didn't! TP charges $0.80 for binding but NTU charges $1.70. So in order to save $, i actually got one grade lower. HAHAHA.







i showed dad my results and he said 'erms.. ok lohs..'
2 more years to graduation! I am definitely looking forward to graduation, working, getting married and having my first baby. :) :)








My tattoo friend is still kind and gentle. Luckily. Hahas. :) And a mummy's boy!







He said he wanted to learn arts in ITE last time and become a tattoo artist. But the thought of people looking scared when he pierce them made him chose another course instead.
And his NS friends were all scared of him after their first bath together. HAHAHAHA! But later they discovered he is actually a good tempered person. And he waited till his mum allowed him to put on tattoos!









My job in the polyclinic is still an enjoyable one. The nurses are really nice! This is the 1st job i did tt longer breaks are allowed. U will never get scolded for taking a longer break time or frequently taking breaks. Because the nurses themselves took super long breaks. And they buy drinks and food for us. So paisehs! They are quite old. 50+ to 60+ years old.








It is really a female working environment. I realised the old security guard is so lucky. Kept talking to the receptionists and the nurses. My tattoo friend, Wei Jie, said he never once talk to him.












Paramedics are always in a special room on stand-by. Cool! i wish i were one of them too. One of my past ambitions. hahahas! Ambitions seem so impt to us when we were young. However, when i start to grow up, i realise tt although u may not achieve the things u long wanted to have, it's okie. What's more impt is tt whatever u do, be happy and be grateful. Think positive and say positive. Believe in yourself. One day, the things u have meditated on will come to pass.











I watched Angels and Demons twice. First with tuck wei, shi xing and friends. And next with jun wen. I cleared my doubts after watching it for the 2nd time. It is a chim movie u see.
Night at the museum 2 is so disappointing! :(

Sharon, me and jun wen were arguing over what Ne Zha story was about.

Sharon said the mother was pregnant for 9 mths and Ne Zha grew very fast after birth.

I said the mother was pregnant for 10 years before giving birth to a 10-year-old Ne Zha.

Jun Wen said Ne zha was created to be 10 years old. No mother was mentioned.













It turns out that all of us were wrong! Sharon went googling it and found out that the mother was pregnant for 3 and a half years before giving birth to a ball of flesh. His father was so angry that he spilt it with a sword, which caused Ne zha to jump out and grow fully.



















Went the Hop-Nob cafe! Since the cafe is pretty customized, Miao asked the waitress whether the chef could create a special dish for me. Something out of the menu. Haha. And the chef came up with this:





They look like springrolls. They tasted awesome. Ling said a man who knows how to cook is an attractive man. hahas. Winks to ling****













I got myself a job! An admin staff in Geylang Polyclinic. What i do the whole day is scan ICs and key in some data of all visitors. Sometimes, i give quene numbers! The workload is quite simple, just that i have to wear a mask, a gown and gloves! Luckily after 2 weeks of 'heat stroke', the authories in the clinic decided that we dont have to wear gowns and gloves anymore. Yes!!!









One of my colleagues looked gentle and kind until i saw tattoos sticking out of his t shirt. Both front and back. Then i got a little scared of him. HAHAHAHAHAs. Tend to get gentle with my words. But he is still gentle. So i guess i shldn't be scared. Everyone has their own past. Hehe. What he was before doesn't determine what he is now.

Somehow i get a little more emo! The Bangadeshs are always having high fever. And they had to queue for a very long time before they can get to see a doctor. Their body temperatures can go up to 39 or 40 degrees. And they looked quite alright. I think i cant even walk when i were one of them.






Once, becos bangadesh cant understand English, when i asked him for his work permit pass, he pull up his shirt and to my horror, i saw many red swollen 'bubbles' on his tummy. He gave me a painful look. So sad!! He thought i was the nurse!



But it was kind of disgusting. i felt a sudden urge to vomit!




Sometimes they just come with cuts on their body. So scary! And they will be in great pain! i cant imagine that kind of pain that they can have. Accidents in a construction site are serious! Life is really hard for them.







And the elderly sometimes make my eyes brimmed with tears. Once, i have to bring an elderly around in the clinic because his eyesight is bad. Inside of me is a LION! Why didn't anyone bring him here? ROARS!








And elderly people tend to hurt themselves easily. Many come for dressing appointments. Clean wounds, remove stitches...







And fever can really spread fast. The whole family of 8 can come to the clinic with fever. Highly infectious sia. I dont even dare to touch them.









The feeling of being called 'Missy' or 'Nurse' is awesome! HAHAHAHAs. Like i am really in that noble profession. Luckily.. i didnt choose 'Nursing' to study in poly. If i did, i am sure a very emo girl now!

Still ZAC EFFRON!! HAHAHAHAHAHAS.

30th apr - 3rd may

Jun Wen went Malaysia for water rafting. He is back now and just showed me his certificate. It goes sth like

"This certificate is to certify that Tan Jun Wen has challenged the Kampar River (Grade I II III) in .... Malaysia."

Oops i forgot the details. Haha.

SO COOL!

2nd may -

Went out with my poly friends! We watched wolverine together and went MOF for dinner. Wolverine was really nice movie. Still i love '17 again' most! And zac effron. HAHA pardon me.

Ting and i shared this dessert called Kurian. Nice dessert. Cream, mango, strawberries, red bean and nata de coco! Great!

I dunno why i feel that jason look like a doctor in this photo.

The waitress got our orders wrong and we waited a good deal of time for our dinner. hahas. But my friends are really forgiving people. They didn't complain. Great! i love them!

Jia Liang met us up this time! Perhaps we always dont see one another for quite a while so whenever we do, there will be questions like.. "Are u still together with your bf/gf?"
Or we spot whether one another has grown fatter or thinner. Funny sia. And we still dont have tt awkward long time never meet silence. Luckily.

HAhas! Very fun to be with them sia. Miss those days in school when we laugh like crazy everyday.

Then we went for a drink at Paulaner. The pub opposite Suntec.

We played the five ten thing. And we team up to subo sam.

Then it's my turn. HAHAHAHA. Funny sia. Then the guys treated us to drinks on one condition: we had to drink whatever they order. So i drank the dunno what shot, maybe tequila or sth. When they played the five ten thing with me again, i tried to just sip the drink, pretend to drink alot when i only take a small sip. Haha. Jun Wen told me that if i cant drink much, i just pretend to drink. So that i won't get drunk. However, that trick just won't work on daniel and samuel. HAHA. So i had to drink one more mouthful to compensate.

THEN.. the outcome? Yes i went crazy. I guessed junwen was the only one who had seen me go crazy before.. I mean before that night. Often when i got drunk, i just feel like sleeping. But when i got more drunk, i talked rubbish. I think i talked loads of rubbish that night! OMG! And i only remembered i told them i was a car mechanic. HAHAHA. When i got home i was so tipsy. i went into my brother's room and lie on the floor for as long as i could remember. Until dad woke me up!

They got me a River Island wallet. Didn't look at it closely that night as my vision was so blurred. HAHA i woke up the next morning finding it really nice!! It is a Tai Tai purse. Thanks guys for the present, and all the planning! :) i am very touched!

4th may -

Went with jw to HANS before meeting my uni friends.

While he was queuing up for food..

I took a photo of him..

Then he decided to make his 'big eyes and open mouth' face.

Then he was upset that i didnt stop.

He decided to ignore it.

But he just can't. And flashed me an angry look. HAHAHA. I am a good storyteller u see. HAHAHAHAHAS.

Then dinner at Fish and Co.

I shared Seafood Platter for two with Bi er and Sharon.

The staff gave me a .. what is that thing called? i just cant remember.

And they sang me a birthday song. A little thin skinned that day dunno why.

So was paisehs.

A pair of lady slippers that make me taller

A dress (I love it!!)

Thank them for the efforts too. :) :) You know, you are always feeling most touched on your birthday. Your friends always want to make u the happiest person!

Love all u guys. They always say, u don't need many friends. U just need a few to make your life complete. U guys (sec sch, poly and uni) are the few they are talking about. And u all make my life complete. :)

It really feels great back home. i sort of missed mum's POWDERFUL talking back in hostel. She will talk from the moment i came back home to the moment she goes to sleep. Dunno how she do it but she just did it. Hahas.
















That day.. 28th april..




I said, "Mum, yesterday was my birthday!!"
Then she said, "Oh ya! Are u 21 yet?!" (she 4ever don remember my age)
"MUMMMM!! I'm already 22."
"Oh really? Eeee u are so old."
.......







WHY AM I OLD WHEN SHE IS OLDER?




She is still so blur. And funny. hahas. Kill me please.








Then she said she bought many stuff for me to bring back to hostel.
Then "Mummy!! i am moving out of hostel tomorrow remember?!"







"Oh.. How many years before you graduate?" (And this is the 1000th time she asked me since last year.)
"2 more years, mum."
"eeeeee.. That government give u 4 months' break every year. U could have graduate in 2010 if your break isn't so long... etc etc etc. You should be working now and earn me some money..."








And she never remember that she said this before.







And before she sleeps, she askd, "What time are u going to school tomorrow?! What time do i need to wake u up?"
"Mummy.. i have 3 months break from school remember?"









And she said yes.. But the next night she asked me the same thing again. HAHAHAHA. Maybe when i grow older, i will just be like my mum.










And the usual thing everytime i come back home is..






"And why are u getting so fat?!"
"Can u please don eat so much?!"
And she said i am ah bui and junwen is ah sun. Then she LOL! *SO ANGRY*








HAHAHAHAHAHA. That's my mum. Sometimes i really dunno how to handle her.








Mum wants me to be a primary school chinese teacher. HAHAHAHAS! And my first reaction is NONONONONO! Mum please don torture me! If there are 10 Yong Zhe (my tutee) in my class, i will faint big time!

Okie, my mattress cover is Surf's Up. Don laugh pls. i put both matresses on the floor. And join my roomie's mattress with my mattress. So the 2 no backbone spiders, jw and i, can study on the mattresses!

Then in the noon, my birthday lunch at Quad, my school cafe.

And i say? The last exam paper we had was 'Computational Biology'. And Jun wen sat in front of Kang Tang. Kang Tai sat next to me. Junwen never sits near me before. And he was really hillarious. i saw him fidgeting throughout the whole exam. He took off his slippers, then folded his legs on the chair, then kneeled on the chair.. then he bent here bent there to look at the clock.. then he dropped first the exam paper.. then the eraser. At times, he turned back and smiled at me. Trying to look which page i'm at. So free sia!! HAHAHAHA. Poor Kang Tai was so distracted.

Then later he tried to explain himself. He said the chair was too hard. He can't think without a comfortable position. I never sit near him before so he needs to turn back and smile and be friendly. And he needs to see how fast i progress. hahaha. Weird reasons. And amazingly, he still finishes his paper.
