Went singing!

Passed by a garden before we reach teo heng haha. Simba wanted me to look scared since a lion is behind. But i looked sad instead. Cos he took a close up of me and i dont like!

This is cute! He is good at thinking what to do with objects around him whenever he takes a photo haha.

We didnt make a reservation as we thought there weren't be crowded. We were so wrong! K studio is the last room available. It is so small! We sat on bar chairs. The tall tall ones. But luckily it wasn't so uncomfortable. :P

Japan Day 3 Attraction no. 2 - Yasaka Shrine at Gion.

We took a bullet train from Tokyo to Kyoto for about 2 hours. Then we took a bus from Kyoto Station.
We paid our fares only when we got down the bus. The fares are displayed whenever the bus comes to a bus stop.

Yasaka (Gion) Shrine
At the eastern end of Shijo-dori (4th street) bordering Maruyama park, this shrine is open 24 hours and is one of the most important and popular shrines in Kyoto. Popularly known by the locals as Gion-san, it is dedicated to the Shinto deities Susa-no-o (brother of Amaterasu Omikami - and wayward "black sheep" of the mythological progenitors of the Imperial family), his spouse Inadahime-no-Mikoto and their mythological children (all 8 of them). The important thing to remember is that Susa-no-o is regarded as the Shinto god of medicine. In the year 869, thousands prayed to Susa-no-o for relief from an epidemic - an event that led to the Gion festival.

We went to Forever 21 at Harajuku earlier. Helped ying buy a bag from there.
My left eye was actually very red! I've got eye infection on the plane to Japan. I wore specs from day 1 to day 3 but took off my specs when i took photos. haha. By day 3 i almost recovered. Phew!

Yea, i'm a coffee addict. It was too cold walking around, has to keep drinking hot drinks.

There are many many crows behind this fence. Each crow is big. Much bigger and taller than those in Sg. They looked like those from Resident Evil 3. Their bodies are able to adapt itself to the environment and provide insulation. Reminds me of polar bears. Ling said they crow at a nicer voice than those in Sg. haha.

The Jungle Crow (Corvus macrorhynchos), is a very widespread Asian species of crow. They are very adaptable and are able to survive on a wide range of food sources making them capable of colonizing new areas due to which they are often considered a nuisance, especially on islands. They have a large bill and due to this they are also sometimes called Large-billed Crow or Thick-billed Crow.

The voice is similar to the House Crow with which it is closest to, but deeper and usually more resonant and described as the usual loud "caaa-caaa-caaa". However it makes a range of calls, some which could be described as "cau cau" and others that could be mistaken for a woodpecker drumming.

In the countryside, crows descend on fields and eat up seed as fast as farmers can plant it. They also attack mature crops, with a special liking for grapes, pears and watermelon. According to the Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries, crows caused an estimated ¥2.6 billion in agricultural losses in 2007, the most recent year for which figures are available.

In cities, crows rip open garbage bags looking for food, scattering trash and creating unsightly messes that are costly to clean up. They nest in crowded city parks, and then dive-bomb humans who come too close. Every spring there are numerous reports of crow attacks on both children and adults.

Crows also cause major trouble for utility companies when they nest on utility poles. As they build their nests, they drop nesting material on the unprotected junctures in electric lines, causing shorts that can set off widespread power outages.

I have never wore this jacket in Sg as it cause me some heat stroke. So it was kept for a further colder purpose! Glad that i brought it along!
