Day 5 - Attraction No. 2

Ling said we can take the mrt to view the beautiful scenery from shimbashi station.

There will be a few attractions like the rainbow bridge, the ferris wheel.. etc..

Shimbashi station. A station named after simba. Hahahaha.

It was about 5pm. So the sky has already grown darker. A dark sky complements the sceneries well.

The rainbow bridge. Beautiful right! Now ya know why it is named after 'rainbow'.

The train has big windows that serve a perfect purpose.

The Rainbow Bridge is a suspension bridge over the Tokyo Port, located on the northernmost part of Tokyo Bay, connecting the Shibaura Wharf and the new waterfront development area, known as Odaiba in Minato-ku ward, Tokyo.

We got down at one of the stops and walked to a nearby shopping mall for a meal.

We had takopachi! :)

They usually sell 8 takopachi for $500 yen. Can eat just 4 balls for dinner. And u will be real full. The balls are filled with so many ingredients and sauces.

The Odaiba Ferris wheel.

The Ferris wheel which changes color all the time.

The Odaiba Ferris Wheel is the largest one in the world with a diameter of 100 meters and a height of 115 meters above ground. It is the symbol of the Palette Town. A fantastic panorama from the slowly revolving wheel includes an entire view of Tokyo Tower and a broad view of the Tokyo Metropolitan. The whole of Tokyo Bay can also be seen, with the hilight of the rife being the magnificent Rainbow Bridge, which is regarded as the symbol and pride of Tokyo Bay. Rainbow Bridge lights in the evening and with a little imagination, appears just like a huge rainbow stretching across the bay, with the cars like shooting stars dashing through the rainbow. The Ferris Wheel itself also lights up in the evening, and by iteslf is a very pretty sight.
