Hi dears, we have reached the later half of year 2013 and this means that it's almost 3 months post his surgery.
Here's a very recent photo of him:

Stupendous effort he put in to achieve his present weight, not letting his muscle weakness impede his will to slim down in the fastest time possible.

Here is him on the day after his operation:

(The loop of hair made on my left ear wasn't intentional, for your information. I kept blaming Simba on not letting me know how catastrophic my hair was!!)

Just a month ago, someone whom I know from work bumped into me and Simba at NEX and when he saw me at our workplace the following day, he commented, "Your boyfriend is quite fat." I took sometime to digest that comment, reacted strongly and replied, "Oh... Huh? Did u see the wrong person? My boyfriend has always been thin."
Then other than realising that I forgot that he became fat (for the past 4 years that he spent with me, he is always the thinner one), I came to realise that he must have heard countless times of him being called 'fat' and that must have hurt.
It's funny how people phrase it:
你最近吃很多哦。
你最近铺食不错 hor。
你最近过得比较幸福 hor。
Of course people like me who have never been slim all my life will never understand that hurt. But I somehow know that it kind of hurt his feelings since he was wrongly accused of going easy on exercising and dieting.
But I think he handled these comments so well; he turned all these into positive energy and work it all out in the gym. And ya when there's a will, there's a way. He manages to lose so much weight after 3 months! Let's give him one more month and he should be back to his original weight. While others took 6 months to 2 years to recover, he may just need 4 months. :D
A few more photos of him for you to applaud his determination.
He hung in there and he made it!
