It's been 2 weeks since i last blogged. Was so bussssyyyyy!



Sick again. 3rd time i'm sick this year! :( Took a day off from work.








Did a few interesting things these 2 weeks.







Like i've said, went to NUS for 2-Day Cloud Asia 2010 BioWorkshop on Master Class in High Performance Computing in Life Sciences. The phD students will present their phD work throughout the course. It was quite boring! Supervisor never pay attention one hahahaha. I was observing one professor as he really looked like the old man from the Up movie. I googled his face and showed supervisor. Supervisor agreed with me hahaha! I fell asleep halfway and got caught by supervisor again. LOL. Then that night he msged me, "Did you learn anything? If it's very boring, u tml go back to office to work on the analysis ok?"

Went for post celebration for my and joanne's birthday. More about it in a while.

Went to Miao's Salsa performance at NUS UCC Theatre. The theatre is so grand love it. hahaha. NTU got Nanyang Auditorium? LOL! Watching so many dance performances makes me have the desire to learn a dance for that moment. Okie, that moment only i suppose haha. I like the street dance! Imagining simba knows it, he will be interacting with the floor. LOL. I'd love to see it hahahahahaha. I haven't start learning Yoga omg. No time!

Wonder how Miao feels! Must have felt great putting on the costumes and showing your best on stage. Then satisfied after that.

Went out with Tracy the Sales Engineer on Friday to NTU and Singapore Poly. Supervisor wants me to try doing everything in the company before i leave. Doing sales is scary, especially when u first started out. hahaha. She is still quite new and has to approach Bio Research Institutes to sell our DNA sequencing and Oligo synthesis services. Imagine knocking from door to door telling the scientists about what u sell. Then they ask all sorts of scary questions that u cant answer.

I took her to my School of Biomedical and Chemical Engineering. To the post graduates' room and she managed to talk to quite a few of them. Got 2 free drinks in return. :P

Msged supervisor to write a testimonial for me. And he replied, "Sure, will include your blurness and timidness in it. What else? Let me ask Justin tml."

LOL. And he really asked justin the next day, and Justin said, "She is very very lazy. Sometimes she is not focused." And the list goes on.

Lent supervisor my poly testimonial as a sample. He was like, "U were from Diploma of Bioinformatics and Engineering?"

"Huhs? Really mehs?" I actually forgot my diploma name.

And he said i was having the Ris Low moment where she forgets which degree she studies. LOL

Should i pursue a degree in Nursing (NUS) after i grad? Omg, pls keep this crazy idea out of my mind. Too bad a forensic scientist needs a double degree in Chemistry and Biology. And Singapore only hires one forensic scientist a year. Think i should guai guai be a researcher or engineer right! One year left to decide :P

Went to fetch Simba at Marine Parade yesterday. He took part in a 25km Passion Run. Ran for 2 hours omg. I asked simba i can take part in a 1km one! Then he said he will host it in the stadium and i will be the only participant. I just have to run 2 and a half rounds. Cool!

HAppy 18th Birthday Jo!

They bought us brushes. Blusher brush, eye shadow brush, eyebrow brush.. Ting said the brushes are soft and thus user friendly. Dan took the brush and accidentally (i hope), not intentionally, used the brush and wiped his stained hands. Omg.

Ting is so cute. LOL. Really make my day by insisting what i insist (that i'm 18).

The restaurant was kinda small and crowded, and no space for the two boys. Almost needa stand and eat.

Simba and i managed to fork out some time to watch Iron Man 2. Wanted to finish our drafts of the final report this weekend but cant! We were too lazy. :(

I was lunching with the poly attachment students. They were way more free than me. So good. They went to google things and found out that Winnie the Pooh and friends except Kanga are all boys. I always thought Piglet and Eeyore are girls. Piglet is pink and Eeyore has a pink ribbon on its tail.

Then i took out my phone and said, "This is my phone. It is also a camera." I wanted to say "This is my phone and it has a camera function." But i predicted that she will ask me, "What is function?" HAHAHAHA. Clever right! Save myself more trouble.




Was trying to switch to camera mode and she saw the wallpaper on my phone. It was simba and I! And she lols. "U got a bf!!!!!" She exclaimed. Hahaha. Kids are kids. They think having a bf or gf is an embarrassing thing.


I took a photo of her desk and showed her. "This is a photo of your desk."
I took another photo of her books on her desk.
She asked, "Why must we take photo of things only? Why only books and papers?" (tio shoot)
Can we take photos of people? Like u take a photo of me?"


Sometimes how kids say and think can surprise u right!



She told me that when Koreans mark a tick, it means a wrong answer. And when they draw a circle, it means the answer is correct. Can someone verify this for me?
She showed me how Koreans dance.
She also told me that Chinese han yu pin yin has 4 kinds of tones. But in Korean language, you can say, "Anyohaseyo!" (she said in her normal tone) or "Anyohaseyo!" in a deep voice or "Anyohaseyo!" in high pitch. lol.

Tomorrow going NUS with supervisor to attend a whole day talk on Master Class on HPC Applications for Life Sciences! He said he will pretend not to know me if i fall asleep. LOL.





After supervisor came back, my colleagues were so nice. Justin told supervisor i was very very slack when he wasn't around. And that i said he is short and ugly (I DIDN'T!!!) Zhu Qian told supervisor that i went home at 6 o clock sharp everyday! (I usually fake fake stay until 6 10pm if supervisor is around hahaha). Jerry told him that i took off all his paintings in his office (i did because the engineers wanted to add solar film to the window!) They all subo me!!!!!! LOL!






After Charlotte (my dear NTU senior) said that most of her course mates get B+ and above for their attachment, justin was real angry! He said NTU was real tai ko. So angry that he is angry! He went to psycho supervisor to get me a C. Then i will make legend! My juniors will say, "You know right, i heard one of the seniors got C for her attachment!" And the fact that i will remember him and supervisor for life. So everyday i will meditate "I HATE KEVIN! I HATE JUSTIN!" a thousand times. And the next time i see justin on the streets, i will say hi cos i will remember him for a lifetime. He is so evil!







I showed them my degree audit and justin was like, "EEEE girl why u get so lousy grades? Omg. Got chance to go NTU never work harder!!!! And u slack for all the need to memorise modules!" LOL. FEEL SO MUCH LIKE SCREAMING "JUSTIN LIM!"
He saw a dip in my grades one semester and i said, "AH YO, i break up!"
The next semester he saw an increase and asked, "Oooh, got new bf ahs?"
LOL! The worst thing of all, they laughed at my matric card photo!






Supervisor calculated for me to get my desired GPA and if i take 100 more modules and get As for all of them, i will get the GPA i wanted. Wow, sounds so impossible man!







Charlotte got a B for her attachment previously and she was real sad after that. She said she dont feel like working hard for the rest of her semesters. Poor girl. She threatened supervisor if he gives me a C, she is so going to not friend him anymore. LOL. I guess EQ is really impt sometimes! Thanks char!






Supervisor wants me to follow Justin for a day to learn to be a sales engineer. But he was afraid that justin and i will strangle each other in the car and met with a car accident! He decided that i follow tracy instead. She was in charge of the selling our services to NTU labs. I am so going back to NTU :P


I stepped on my glasses on my bday. The broken glass cut my feet! Hahaha. My bday gift for myself is a new pair of glasses this year. :P

Something from my sec sch friends. A Naraya bag. I didnt hear of this brand before until they gave me this. I started to observe that many girls have similar designs since then!


















Simba bought me an ipod Touch 32GB and its cover.
I googled and it can record 7000 songs. Omg.
I think i listened to too many songs lately and sang all the time. So he thought an ipod will be nice as my present. I need the dummies' guides to itunes. My downloads are registered under simba's mastercard. (cos i don have one!) He is in trouble lol.














And also bought my fav book written by Nicholas Sparks. Omg. Love it!

Supervisor bought me a Winnie the Pooh cup. He said he cant find the Lion King cup. LOL.
He said i always bring the bottle to work and need to change everytime. And the pantry's glasses look real disgusting. hahaha. Now i can drink lotsa lotsa water and go toilet all the time to eat snake. Happy!


Although simba is doing well in his attachment, he says nothing beats a good supervisor!

One thing about Ma Maison is that i think the food is salty. Need to ask for less salt next time!

Supervisor will be back tml. My rotting life is over. Justin and Coreen has been supervisor's spies. I was playing the zombie game and Sim Ee video it down. SO ANGRY with all of them. Everyday they come ask whether i used Facebook and threatened to tell supervisor! SO ANGRY! lols.





Hey my NTU friends, please start on your final report now now now! We are handing in the report and logbook the beginning of june. :P
Friends, i wont be free from now until june. Need to do my report and logbook! Omg, rushing again. Cant do anything on weekdays since i have tuition on 4 weekdays! But still in for joanne's and sharon's birthday celebrations ya.

I guess that's so true! I checked fb in the morning of 27/04 and there were 25 notifications! Then 11 more! Then many more until the night time.

Omg, forgot i was nicknamed "jin ma" before in secondary school until hui ru and yu rong msg me hahahahaha.


And i've got a god son chee yong in secondary school. He msg, "Mummy, happy birthday!" Omg, i was so childish! hahahaha lols.




I think i have countless relations! Miao was my ex wife, omg.



The first one to wish me was jay, the least expected! :P 26th april 9pm.
And daniel was funny! He msg me at 11 45pm, "i play cheat abit, am i the first?"




Simba promised to celebrate my birthday for 4 days. HAHAHAHA! He is in trouble! We led a high-end life this week. Eat too many restaurants. :P lols. I try not to order drinks, desserts or side dishes whenever i go restaurants. Simba will do otherwise. And the bill is always super high!






Simba is doing great in his attachment. If only he can pass his capabilities to me!!!!! :P

Words are just words before you string them up to form a sentence. How you form it and the choice of words you use determine you. Take note of your facial expressions too. People can tell how true you arethrough your face. Top up your words with a true smile. Yeah, choose the right sentences and words to use. hehes. Supervisor said i should be more careful with my words in the workplace with some people to protect myself. hahahaha. Is that so true?




No tuition today! Gonna go Heaven Loft and Alley bar later! Cant wait!

Tutee's birthday today. He has the same horoscope as me! Bought Toy Story Uno cards for him from Toy R Us. Cute right!

i wanted to buy a DVD of 12 childhood tales. It lasts for 70 mins. One of the stories is 'The Emperor's New Clothes'! And simba said once my tutee unwrapped his present, he sure sianz tiao! Simba thinks that presents should be fun and not full of educational value. LOL. I went to ask the salesgirl whether that will be suitable for a primary 1 kid. She said it was meant for kindergarden kids!
Simba then wants me to buy Jimmy Neutron computer game. But tutee's exams are coming near! So i refused. Finally decided on Uno cards. :)










Supervisor and Justin kept mentioning the word simba! :P The biggest mistake in my life is to tell them my secret. Justin went to download 'Lion King' and watched it last weekend. He said it was so nice. LOL. Everyone likes simba hahaha.

I printed some primary 2 vocabulary words for my tutee. And oh shit, one of the colleagues pass the papers to me. So scared that she tell supervisor. I also printed my Singtel birthday treat vouchers at work. Pastamania, Shaw Theatres, Swensens, Awfully chocolate, jean yip vouchers! Coreen collected for me and said, "Xiao mei, i know it's your birthday but u dont have to show everyone right?" LOL







I lie my whole body on the chair and took off my shoes. And jerry passed by and LOL! So happy that the office is my 2nd home!






I forgot to bring my access card yesterday. And thomas lent me his for a whole day! So nice! Omg. I think i will cry on my last day of attachment. :P When i returned him, i tactlessly asked, "So just now u never go toilet at all ahs??" His face turned red LOL. OOOPS, why do i always say the wrong thing??








Simba said i will go around telling everyone in the company next Tuesday that it is my birthday. HAHAHAHA. How come he knows???! I am so gonna tell Charlotte, Justin, Coreen, Zhu Qian, Tracy, Sharon and Jerry!! HAHAHAHAHA! Must get as many wishes as possible.
