The Bioinformatics course is over! :)

It was great! But i OT for a few days and was really tired.

Tuesday..

The printer jammed when we tried to print our course materials. I was kneeling down by the printer and trying to pull the jammed papers out. It just kept jamming! The papers cut my finger and my hands were dyed black from the ink. Super lang bei. I have to walk all the way to the lab to get my printed papers. Walk like 50 times!! Tidied up supervisor's office and got ready all the materials...! Everything just went so wrong last minute! Blur supervisor opened the wrong presentation documents and overwritten the correct ones! Ahhhhh! It was 9pm when i finished my work. It was raining heavily then. Supervisor walked me to the bus stop.

We were drenched and he asked, "Have you ever heard of Fermi's Law?"

"Huhs? Never?"

"Oh that suay person invented this law to imply that when u are suay, you cant escape suayness! You will be suay for the whole day all the time."

It was so true that day!

He was so apologetic! "You know i didnt intentionally wait until last minute to finish all the work!"

Wednesday.. Course Day 1

Went to work at 8am! Super early. Supervisor's face turned red when he asked, "Erms... Can you do me a favor? Can you make tea for all our students?"

LOL! So Charlotte and i made a few trips to the basin and washed the cups. Made 16 cups of tea and served them. I dunno whether i shld bring a jar of tea to refill for them. But i was thinking there shldnt be a need as i'm not a waitress this time round. hahahas. They still asked me to refill though.

I'm kind of unqualified as the students are of higher education level than me. Stressed when they asked me some biology questions with regards to the bioinformatics! I dunno how to answer. i refer Supervisor to them. So paisehs! They paid so much for the course and.. they have a not very zai teaching assistant like me! They kept raising their hands and i would go to their desks to help them. Real busy and scary! My heart was beating so fast when i was helping to solve their problems. I was hoping that whatever i typed in doesnt send a error message in return. I was glad that i designed the tutorials and was familiar with it. Phew!

Supervisor was actually nervous too. hahahahas! But he delivered all his lectures really well.

Stayed till 8pm and supervisor asked me to go home. He stayed till midnight omg!

Well.. i was at home at 9pm editing his slides.

Jerry was telling supervisor, "Your poor assistant.."
And he suggested to supervisor that i shld claim time off since there isn't OT pay. And supervisor promised to help me claim. So nice!!

Thursday.. Course Day 2

Went to work at 7am. Got up at 5am and mum exclaimed, "What kind of job are u working as?????!!!!"




The students were patient with me and nice. One auntie cant see the keyboard well and i typed for her as she did the tutorial. One of them asked me to make coffee for him and i was so afraid that my coffee doesnt taste nice. so got justin to help me! And he shook his head and sighed, "HAIS, NTU.." hahahaha! Oops, it is me, not ntu's fault. haha. I will take a lifetime to figure why justin think i ben ben 1.








I did cleaning up and setting up of the buffet tables with the poly attachment students. haha. Once, there was the whole week that the cleaner auntie didnt come to work. The students were asked to clear all the rubbish in the office. And one of these days, their lecturer came to visit them and saw them clearing rubbish. LOLS! Think my company wont have poly attachment students next time alr!






Zhu Qian, supervisor's best fren, ba kah with me! hahaha. He said he will help me hint supervisor to let me go off early next time. Yeah! :) :)

Tuition was postponed to sunday. So happy. So glad that simba and i are earning a little money now. Then simba can eat nice food at restuarants as and when.

Saturday..

Simba was excited that circle line is opened to Dohby ghaut now. He wanted to take the 1st train at 6am. But think it was too early. We still took the train to paya lebar and to downtown east! :P Simba loves circle line!




Watched kick-ass. Funny and violent. 10 thumbs up! (although i dont have 10 thumbs!). I recommend you to watch if you like crappy movies like me!




Met ling up to catch up after tt. Sales seem everywhere! :P

Oh ya.. my dear poly friends.. Are u all going our dinner and dance on 30th Apr? We have to give our answers soon~!

I edited my tutee's composition and she corrected all her mistakes. She got full marks in the end. Her mum became very happy, thinking that her daughter improved greatly. I feel so bad! Guess i wont get sacked, hahahas.

Introducing 'The Cotton Candy' ice cream! It was recommended by the ice cream girl. The cotton candy is made of marshmallows, M & Ms and some other toppings (I forgot). I was abit scared of that blue color but it turned out to be unexpectedly sweet and nice. Simba and i love it! U shld try it too! :) I forgot the store name. hahas. I think sth moo~ i go find out first. It is at 313 Somerset btw.

Remember to watch 'When in Rome' and 'The men who stare at goats'. LOL watching them. The men who stare at goats is super funny. The storyline was crappy and i guarantee u will love the weirdest jokes. I wish that i have certain weird beliefs to hold on to too. :P




Earlier today, Justin kept asking me and Charlotte to tell him what nicknames we give our boyfriends during lunch. We refused to say! He was so persistent about it that he sat beside Charlotte back in the office. Charlotte came asking me to save her and Justin followed her. After much struggle and lots of Justin's prompt, i told them that it was a cartoon character.

I told them it was 2 syllabus and justin said it must be ninja turtle. Ninja or turtle.
Charlotte was like "Oooor, u call your bf wu gui! So bad!"

I finally admitted that it was simba after they run out of cartoon characters. They were shocked. 'U mean he look like that lion? Where got?" Oh no! Think they will keep on mentioning "your simba" to me from then on. I will be a laughing stock and biscuit for the next few weeks. Supervisor told us that simba actually come from Kimba, the Japanese lion cartoon character. And the 3 of us were puzzled. He googled it and showed me! He said JW look more like Kimba, not Simba. SAD.

They were also having their usual debate during lunch. This time the topic was about selling chicken rice earns more than any job of an university graduate. Supervisor wants me to go around with some papers and a clipboard surveying people on their occupations and incomes. :( Why am i involved when i keep mum whenever they debate????

Simba bought 5 packets of unique looking candies and chocolates from Candy Empire. We ate the coffee vanilla chocolate flavor of marshmallows and it was wicked nice. Omg, i am falling in love with Candy Empire.

May be balloting for a flat next year. Hope we get what we want. :) They always say when u stay at the North East side, your future house will be near the North East. Hahahahas. I guess that's really true.

Supervisor and i played my mp3 collection yesterday. So happy that i didnt fall asleep after lunch. He kept asking me to give him all my songs but i kept forgetting. Only yesterday he suan me that he already brought the speakers to play songs! then i remember that they are all in my hard disk. boo! Then i know i've got so many nice songs. :)


I load the songs into our server. Ooops. Make my supervisor so slack. He didnt do much! Just kept singing along with the songs and chatting with our colleagues. LOL

OMG! SO FAST! will miss supervisor and my colleagues. They started to say where to go have lunch on my last day. Started to ask for my fb. Supervisor also started to ask me to keep a Hand over document for him before i leave. Omg, cant bear to leave them.






From someone who knows nothing about Bioinformatics (i ti-kum my poly exams in Bioinformatics) to now someone who gains so much knowledge on it. I really appreciate how much of a great help my supervisor is. :) Although I did some many stupid stuff that make him LOL, he has been patient! He has been a consistent learner since young. Smart and everything. It must been a torture to have a blur intern like me!






Nonetheless, my old old colleagues are so nice too. One of them drives us to Holland V for lunch as and when. Holland V food is real nice btw. They taught me how to ballot for a flat, the conditions of getting it, how to get married, many biology knowledge, many world news, better presentation, better confidence, some business set up knowledge, some censored stuff and etc. And they couldnt get any knowledge out of me. hahaha. And ya, i had fun talking to my malaysian colleagues and picking up their accents. hahaha.






Everytime i have to leave a workplace, i will miss my colleagues. Missing my polyclinic colleagues badly too! :(





Recently, a few of my colleagues are getting married. And they were really thrilled talking about the preparation and the day itself.. Felt so excited for them too! Wow, isn't your wedding day the most beautiful day of your life? I know i have found the one i wanna marry truly.

Did my presentations yesterday and today. Guided my students with tutorial sessions. Hahas. Was a nervous wreck on Wed. Felt my face flushed hahas. Supervisor said i was okie, just a little shy. But the two sales engineers think it is rude that i didnt look at them when i talked. But i cant look at them. I knew my brain will be empty if i look at so many of them. Hahahas.









Today is a better day! They kept interfering! "Xiao Mei, dont fidget around. Your eyes are not fixed and focused!!! XIAO MEI! LOOK AT ME!" I felt calm and delivered my 1 and a half hour tutorial! They kept asking so many weird questions and testing me whether i can handle them. I was actually scared i couldn't answer as supervisor was just beside me! Dont wanna make him lose face!

They just kept disturbing me and i kept using "There!!" and they lol. The formal tutorial became so informal. Kept rephrasing my sentence until they understand. They cant like Bioinformatics i guess haha.

And next week i have to teach some poly students. Conduct tutorial again. Faintz! The scary thing is when two weeks later, i will be teaching the pHD people. And supervisor asked,

"If they ask u something u dunno how to answer, what shld u do?"

"Oh ask u lo!"

"Cannot cos sometimes i also dunno one haha. Say you are not sure, just take down their questions and say u will find out the answers and email them."

Oh no, imagine i dunno everything.

Omg. Never ending. Cant wait for supervisor's reservist. hahahahaha! Then i can be a lazy worm for 3 weeks. Cool! And i will have less pimples and more sleep.

My birthday month APRIL.

Every year on April Fools' Day, i will receive plenty of SMSes wishing me Happy Birthday. SMSes from Singtel, and some others! Always get birthday discounts during April month. I love April! :)








Simba and i are going to Taiwan from 18th june to 23rd june. My attachment ends on 14th june. Cool right! Must go as soon as attachment is over. Sure going to look forward to it. Hehe.







During Mid March, while we are going to book air tickets to Thailand, simba suddenly asked, "Erm, are u afraid of riots?" I was like, "Yeahs of cos!!" There were news on riots in Bangkok. And we decided not to go. Simba asked me to just go to Taiwan and not to worry too much. In the end, i accepted to eat some Simba's soft rice and we booked our tickets. :)
I am finally going to taiwan! Yes!
Going to shop till we drop and eat as if there is no tomorrow!

Went to donate blood today. Was supposed to do it last week but has fallen sick. i anyhow fill the form and so paiseh! Got one question on the form that says, "Do you know that AIDS can be passed through blood transfusion?" I wrote no cos never see properly. Then the doctor explain a whole lot to me. SO paiseh! Still afraid of needles omg. The nurse is nice. hehes. She said i have nice teeth lols! I can give her if she wants. Then went to adjust my specs. It was very crooked and now i finally can wear specs to work. Contact lenses make my vision blur lately. The optician is nice too. It's a nice Sunday.

I was pleading with my laptop not to die before mid april. Will be needing it badly till that day! But day by day it is dying. I kept slowly transferring my data to my brother's lapbook using my 2GB thumbdrive hahahaha lols. simba just cant understand why i dont wanna get a hard drive so he bought one for me. Pretty right. Pink Pink red red one! Pardon me, i didnt know what it was when he gave me. LOL. He gave me the pouch first and said, "Na, this is for u!"
I was like, "Why u buy such a big handphone pouch for me?" lols. Then he gave me this big device and i was trying to open it omg. WHY CANT I OPEN IT? He said it just cant be opened, it is just like this. It was Ovation brand and i thought i saw ovulation! WHAT IS THIS???? Some female stuff??? i kept asking him.
So it is a BIG thumbdrive with 350GB. WOWS! This is the next high tech thing i have other than my phone and my laptop. hehe! Still haven buy my polarized camera!!!!!

Cant go out this weekend. Sad. Got to finish all my slides and tutorial sheets. Omg. I used pink and purple fonts and was given a weird stare from supervisor. OOPS! I got 4 tuitions in a week. :( The mum wants me to give more lessons. All my pimples are popping out. One whole line on my cheeks. SHIT

My example was:

John played computer games till wee hours last night. He couldnt wake up in the morning the next day and was late for school. He regretted playing computer games last night.

Then i gave another example:

A few days ago, I saw a doll I really liked. Yesterday i went to the toy store to buy the doll but it was sold out. I regretted not buying the doll on the day I saw it.

Then she understands. Erm! Maybe i should make every example feminine. lols.

Went out last sat though. Took simba for a haircut.

My hair is getting real thick and i didnt want to get a haircut. :P















Then we went to the food fair at Suntec conventional hall.

The thai tapica my fave! But was so disappointed that it wasnt so nice.

Then movie How to train your dragon 3D! The first time i watched a 3D show. But the 3D specs was so uncomfortable. I like the dragon Toothless so cute! Wanna to keep a pet dragon. :P















Bowling is next! We registered at 3 plus and they got back to us at 6 plus. hahas. Half of the lanes were in the process of being renovated. Simba and i were so shy. Too many people beside us. I feel so embarrassed to bowl. And simba's face was red sometimes. hahahahahas.

Today is friday! Hurray!
Oh no, i am a little scared of my blood donation again. But i must be brave! Cos i really really wanna get priority queue in the polyclinic next time. It's my lifetime goal hahaha. Very odd of me to set a goal so when i set a goal, i am really determined. Then next time when simba and i are old and have already dropped all our teeth, we can slowly hunch back walk to the polyclinic and i will give the nurse my blood donor card and stammered, "I... I .. I.. got this priority q.. q.. q.. ueue. See doctor fast... fast.. faster..."




I think must donate 35 times. And this is my third time. Wow, i'm really reaching my goal. Yeah!





Simba went on a 16km NorthEast run last sun and ran past Temasek Poly. He was so proud of it that he ran all the way without stopping for 1 hr 27mins and kept asking me to look at his photo of him running on the NorthEast run facebook. But there are 400+ photos. How am i going to find his??
Oh ya, the photo taking was outside Temasek Poly. I miss my Temasek Poly so much!






And he just signed up for a 25km run! Cant believe it. Omg. I was wondering why would anyone ever pay money just to run? i just cant get it. He said he wants to collect all the t-shirts for every event. Omg. Just cant understand. He asked me to join a 5km run and i said my 2.4km i already going to die!! He said he will walk all the way with me but i doubt so! I knew he cant take the temptation and will start running!








I am having cough and sore throat again. Simba passed it to me once more! So angry! Now my 'one year sick once' policy is gone!! I am sick once last mth and sick again this mth.






I'm going to present and teach my colleagues on my Bioinformatics this april. All thanks to myself! I told Supervisor Kevin that Simba has to do some research and present it to his supervisor from time to time. And he decided to follow that idea. He said then i can write in my CV, "I taught all my colleagues Bioinformatics during my attachment." Oh great! He said he will give me a choice whether to present or not. Although my brain is sometimes very empty, i got some psychology skills.







Ya, he gave me a choice so that it doesnt look like he demand me to do and that he was trying to test some courage out of me. Yeah, minutes later, i say ok, i present.





And he asked me about Maths whenever he doesnt know. Stressed sia! Nearly lose face all the time. hahahaha. Luckily i anyhow anyhow explain and surprisingly he still understands.





Oh ya i went to a talk today at NUS. My first time to NUS. :P My supervisor was an ex NUS student. He said the canteen uncle drives a BM! Then he asked me if i never study, can try selling drinks! Then he added on "Oh too bad u study already!" Diao!

The talk was about Corals and Next Generation Sequencing. My company is advancing our research to Next Generation Sequencing btw. We are the first ones to do it in Sg. Cool right! My supervisor provides the first bioinformatics services in Sg for Next Gen Sequencing.






From the talk..
I learned that corals has this algae Zooxanthellae in them that does photosynthesis and provides nutrients for them. Due to the heightened climate, corals are "bleached". The reason they turned whitish is because the rise in temperature causes photosynthesis to fail. (Photosynthesis only takes place at certain optimal temperature.) Thus, Zooxanthellae cannot provide corals with nutrients. Instead this algae takes away their energy and nutrients! So corals kick them out and becomes white in return.
Corals are a little heartless hor!

Anyway, some corals become white but some become a little brown, some dark brown.. So we can conclude that the rise in temperature affects corals individually. Is there any genetic traits in the corals that causes this individualism? And we wish to increase the corals' adaptabilities to survive in the adverse environment. We have to use Next Generation Sequencing techniques to do that. Cool right! I miss lectures suddenly hahas.







My new tutee is Korean! Her living room has the biggest bookshelf full of Korean novels. Her mum will bring a tray of biscuits and drinks into her room for us. And the tray is so cute!



I got two angels as my tutees this time round. Super happy +++++!



My philiphino tutee has started to know some Chinese words and i'm real happy. But i still have to converse with him in English, then translate to Chinese.
When he first started, he pronounced 'shi' as 'xi', 'chi' as 'qi' .. Yeah u know what i mean. Like ang moh pronouncing Chinese. When he reads a sentence, i cant help but laugh. The combination of words sounds funny as he cant recognise the han yu pin yin sounds.




His mum requested for me to translate his Chinese textbook into English. It's quite challenging!
Like xie zi is "write" in English. But xie is "write", zi is "words". Should i write "write" or "write words"?



What makes me happy was that he chose me over toys. Super touched. :)

He practises Chinese at home and his mum thought it was so irritating (she doesnt understand abit of Chinese) that she has to ask him to stop.







I feel so motivated to be a Chinese teacher suddenly! LOL
Simba asked me to be a BioInformatician since i am learning it now. As it is a specialised job and no one really likes bioinformatics, the pay is high! Huh, but see how! I want to do what i like even if it is a low paying job.

The guys have a rule: Whenever they go bowling or playing pool, the ultimate loser pays everything. And of cos simba will give it his best shot and never pays hahahahahaha lol!







Going bowling with simba this weekend. Hopefully wont lose too much to him! Maybe simba will have some nachos and stingray with me too.








Going for blood donation this sunday after being flooded with smses from Red Cross for 3 mths! i have a generous blood hahahahas. O blood type hor, mai siao siao. Omg, suddenly so scared of them stapling my finger again!

Yes today is friday! i love fridays! Simba and i shout hurray every friday! It's routine to shout hurray!! Now we understand why working people like fridays and weekends.



Yeah! Today Supervisor is on leave! So i spend my friday doing things slower hahaha. Was guilty of being too relax so i opened the office door so that i cant slack. Cos my colleagues may pass by and take a peek. Then i wont dare to surf other webbies and will guai guai do my tasks.



But i guess it was a bad idea. Hahahas. Charlotte passed by and told me to stand up cos she wanna look at my outfit. Then she asked me to show her some shopping blogs.




Then one by one they came to look for Supervisor.
"Where is your boss?"
"Where is Kevin?"
"Can u pass this message to your boss?"
"Tell Kevin ...."
"Give me his number.."

Yes, as long as supervisor is not around, everyone starts looking for him.. Through me..!
When he is around, jerry, joo qian, charlotte, justin, correen etc often comes in his office just to chat with him. He is just too popular i guess.





Justin, Charlotte and Correen were too busy that they skipped lunch today. No one to acc me for lunch .. So.. I sneaked out to have lunch with Simba at MOE. I spend 20 mins travelling to MOE, 20 mins lunching and 10 mins travelling back to office. :P







Supervisor gave me some tutorial sheets to prepare these days and shorten the deadline as and when. Diao! He is giving a 2-day course on Bioinformatics and i am his teaching assistant. So scared! His students? Our clients! PHD people. Omg. My lecturers are Professors, PHD people! Imagine me teaching them stuff. :p So scared!


I will be teaching some colleagues first at the start of April. And then comes the day where i teach our cilents. So scared. Hopefully my students dunno anything then i can smoke them. hahahahas.



I am preparing 6 lab sheets and i just cant seem to finish! Got a deadline to meet. Dying! Supervisor just kept on giving analyses and clients' data for me to do in the meanwhile.
Then he went meeting clients without me. i wanna meet clients too, seem fun. The client will tell us "Oh i suspect this infected mouse has this kind of virus in it. Can you investigate for me?" Then i can ask questions like, "Oh.. How much sample DNA would u give us? Do u have a reference genome? ..." So cool right! (i know what to ask cos i prepared the client meet up questionaire!)




But everytime the sales ppl will go too then the taxi got not enough space for me. So angry!






Supervisor will always politely ask, "Would u do this for me?"
I always say ok, yes, ah-huh, alright, sure.. never a no
hahaha. i may as well say "i will do anything and everything for u!" But sounds very weird!
Feel like asking him, "Can i say no?" but didnt have that kind of courage haha.





You can call me Miss do-it-all. I send his emails, clean his desk, file his receipts and research papers, read his books etc! The only thing i didnt do was to wash his coffee cup. i was trying to photocopy some documents for him and justin helped me with it. And he said, "Kevin hor omg!"








Oh ya, i drank 2 coffees a day cos i was caught sleeping by him LOL. Then got suan for a week. hahaha.


Next time i wanna have an attachment student too. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. bao chou!

boo! Enough of complaints. Thou shall not complain (after i complained so much). Thou shall accept all stresses pleasantly.
I realise tt as time passes, we get older but stronger mentally. Stronger cos we have more experiences in handling stresses and we will constantly encourage ourselves to go on and strive for better lives.

Justin is the 2nd man i met who is quite prejudiced against women. He will just think all women are ma fan, waiting to be treated like princesses, materialistic, needs bf to pay for everything, pampered ... blah blah..





I dunno why he think this way. Diao. Cant seem to persuade him in any way that not all women are like tt. I never win in outtalking him! But he is nicee.. and has a gf.. weird!







Yest was supposed to spend my evening with simba but he OT until 9pm! I waited from 6 30 to 7 45 before simba tells me to go home first. So i went to Vivo and shop! The feeling is great great great! :) i miss shopping with myself. hahahahas.





I am lucky tt i dont have OT. When it's 6 30 and i am still in the office, colleagues come in and hint Supervisor. hahahahaha. So nice!




I got another tuition job at Bishan. So happy.
The tuition agent asked me "What is your rate?"
"$15 to $20 per hour?"
She was like huh??! "U shld be charging $25 per hour! U got experience one lehs!"
Oh i didnt know.. Sotong sotong one.
So happy that she got me to teach a Pri 2 at $22 per hour. YEAH!
I just have to bear with giving tuition for one more year before i grad and find a full time job! i will be a big happy woman by then. Finally i'm graduating. Finally! Yes i mean finally. Cant wait!

Too much coffee makes me weak.
Felt feverish and had a big headache today cos of overdose of coffee. Still went for tuition after work though.
Pls tell me i'm not a superwoman. I'm only human.
Pls tell me it's okie to take a break. It's okie to sleep early for a night!
Pls advise me not to take up one more tuition.

Cant believe my ambition is to be a housewife. Hahaha.
I will be too bored, given that now i'm such a workaholic!
Too bored until... Either i will go shopping and spend all my husband's money away and ruin my marriage or i work!

Okok i will work! Shall not be my own marriage spoiler hahahahaha.

So happy that my bday is finally not during exams cos no exams for me this time. Great!
And finally i can watch 'Star Awards'. Been missing it for 2 years i think.

Okie, i used to talk to my soft toys when i was sad but not now alr!

Watched 'Up in the air' yesterday and 'Being human' today.

I told simba to book any movie yest while i was giving tuition. And out of 'wolfman, alice in the wonderland, being human, happy-go-lucky, dear john.., he chose 'Up in the air'! I didnt know what that is and take a long time to find the poster! The information on the poster was so 'helpful'.

I spent the first ten mins trying to figure out what it was about. But was disturbed by 3 guys who accused us of taking their seats! They were noisy! I was ignoring them and telling simba that they must have walked into the wrong theatre as the couple beside us cant possibly sat on the wrong seats too.

One of them was too rude and simba came out of his seat to compare tickets with him. It turns out that we have the same tickets as 2 of them! How can Cathay treat us this way???

The guys went out eventually. Guess the Cathay staff will give them another timing to watch that movie. Simba pitied them since they had brought drinks and popcorn in.

The movie was okay. High class jokes which i dont understand sometimes. Angmoh too chim! Everyone in the cinema seemed to enjoy it. When they lol, i dunno why. haha! Simba is so unique to like it. hahahas. Maybe i should just ask him to book movies for me in the future so that i can know what kind of movie he genuinely likes.

'Being human' was great. i kind of like it. Cried 5 times!




i support Jack Neo's movies. Part of the reason is because it is a local movie :)
I am proud to be a Singaporean. My Indonesian friend always say Singaporeans must treasure their good lives. The government let us have education easily, go to church easily, be peaceful people. No discrimination, not much corruptions. He always wants to go for further studies but is still trying hard to save money. His church has received threats! He was robbed a few times in his country. He needs to bribe people to make his life better. :(




And this time, jack neo added a new touch to his movie. The actors sang a musical kind of thing.













Simba came to my house for CNY. And while i was in the bathroom, He arranged my toys this way. Hahahahas. He said they were trying to escape from my house. Watched too much toy story!

















We passed by this and Carine thinks the scenery is nice! She volunteered to take a photo for us and we were so paiseh suddenly. hahaha. She is so cute!









Last week!

We watched Qing Yao's drama at Lee Foundation Theatre at NAFA Campus 3. He is the producer!



I chose to wear sth a little formal and simba was so affected cos he wore t shirt and jeans. And he bought a buttoned shirt half an hour before the show starts just for it. He spent $70(shirt) + $16(tix) = $86 for the drama. Omg!



We ended seeing a few audience wearing t shirt, shorts and slippers. Diao! :P
Ching Siang and the rest were waiting for Ryan and were not allowed into the hall for the first half of the show! They spent 1 and a half hour outside the hall watching the drama from a screen. Poor things!







It was quite funny!

When they sing, it wasnt so clear and sometimes they sang out of tune. hahas. Yes, they are all students and still in the process of mastering. So shall give them a break.

Overall, it was nice!

This group of friends of different personalities went on a vacation together on an island. They met 2 ghosts who need their help. Through their terrifying experience, they learn good values and to treasure each other better!

I like this! I pity the guy on the right. He is acting as a nerd and uses the British accent when he speaks. He has the most words to say. Long sentences and superb ang moh!
The guy on the left has an easier life. He is acting as an ah beng and use 3 to 4 words to form a sentence.
