On the weekend before my surgery, Simba attended his colleague's ROM but left earlier so as to help me in mentally preparing myself for the surgery. That was how his colleagues found out about my condition. One of them responded by asking me to keep my torn ligament as a souvenir lol. Since some people keep their tooth so why can't ligaments be keepsakes too? I felt a gnawing anxiety when I heard that as an image of the tangible ligament fragments lying on my palms came to my mind. The feeling must be not-so-peaceful. Lol. Her creativity kind of freaked me out that day.
Jun Wen was scheduled in taking care of me throughout the week since my parents have gone back to work after few days of leave. As mentioned in my last entry, he happened to be on study leave!

I started to see a trend in his studying pattern. He was glued to his textbook for an hour and then to his iPad for the next before going back to his textbook. Lol. When did he become lazier?
PS. Thanks to physiotherapy that I learnt how to use crutches properly. My cousin and Jun Wen held them and hopped with every step they took. That would be too tiring to walk even for awhile.
This was on the day before his exams. Finally THE STRESS.

And here to also thank all those who have visited or coming to visit me! Some even brought Bird's Nest. :D
The Bird's Nest my colleagues bought. It comes with a nautical basket and a very cute piglet! Initially I wanted to snap a picture of this unwrapped gift but my cousin was too excited about tearing it open and tore it up before anyone could stop her. Even parts of the label were torn so you can imagine her excitement!

After it was done with the first bottle, it came for the second one.

Jun Wen's parents also came by and conversed with my parents quite abit. Was amazed by how lengthy my mum's words were even though that was the the first time she met his parents. Omg.
They bought Bird's Nest too but of a different brand.
Time to be reliving the last part of my Legoland trip.
After the sky tower ride, we also spent some time at the center of the amusement park, which is the MiniLand. From the name MiniLand we know that everything in it is miniaturised! :D And this is the time when you spammed your camera memory with photos!
This is one familiar structure for us! Singapore's Clarke Quay.
To make everything look convincing, our lego merlion even has water spraying out of it.
Our Singapore flyer. Although we were spread all over the area snapping pictures away, but once the personnel offered to take a photo of us, some of my friends just appeared beside me for it. They have such quick senses when it comes to photo-taking!

Once it appeared into sight, we quickly scrambled to surround it, and hogged it for several photos, but I'm sure the personnel didn't mind when they come to discover that Ying bought 4 photos of us carrying different expressions and striking different poses with it while I got 2!
That was then we realized that we had only 1-2 hours to the closing of the park! Friends started to spilt ways to enjoy the last part of the park by themselves!
Ying and I went to the remaining area of the park, which is the Lego City.
Passed by an interesting ride where you get to sit in a fire brigade and use a hose to spray a full gush of water into the building to save people in it. But the queue was simply too long and we had no time to waste so we forgo the idea of giving it a try! :(
Lego people eat too! I wonder if they eat brick food.

Ahhh.. Nowadays kids have so much more life!
Kids also get to enjoy viewing lego structures while on the ride. This is so unfair!
A souvenir store stands beside the car ride thingy and in I went hoping to bag something home. Pondering if I wanna buy the superman lego back, but threw away the thought afterwards with the hope to get something more amusing like Jack Sparrow from Pirates.
Our last stop was the Big Shop that sells everything found in other smaller souvenir stores, from towels to keychains to lego bricks.
These water bottles with the lego heads nearly spur the temptation in me to buy it, but its price is really overrated and yup I'm a calm person, I'm a controlled and calm person so eventually I put it back onto the shelf.
And all good things have to come to an end at 6pm. A VIP seat in the bus was awaiting us to give us a ride back home.
The insides were like a KTV lounge, where there is this round table in the middle with us sitting around it on a sofa that runs circularly.
After we were dropped off at Golden Mile, the 2 friends, TW and SX, who didn't join us earlier came for dinner with us.
We were at Kampong Glam somewhere near Golden Mile.
Ended the day after a nice chat, leaving me no mood to dive back into work the following day!
