We watched The Walking Dead Season 1 and are now glued to the computer because of Season 2. Due to its horrific and grossed scenes, I need company for watching it and was relieved that my endurance for such scenes gets better and better.
With no more recent outings to blog about and one more week to spare before I can get back to work, I went going through photos with the intention to blog about events that I missed the last year.
And found a series of photos of Jun Wen and I in our grad gowns at the abandoned Clementi railway bridge.

We travelled by MRT and alighted at Potong Pasir, which was a bad idea as we walked for miles before reaching the Serangoon Broadway Studio. Lost our way and walked through the industrial area before reaching as Google Map showed us a deviation from the direct route.
Oh well, we were so full of perspiration when we were there but instead of going inside to cool ourselves down, we stood outside the display glass for photos lol.

The strong sun rays shone on the glass caused the big bear to appear too bright to be seen on the camera, so after much careful tilting of the camera, we got a picture of me with one bear. :D

We were invited into their meeting room for graduation cap fitting right after registration.
Stole a shot at the full-length mirror of the meeting room. Epic fail. Anxiety filled our hearts while we waited for the person in-charge to advise us on the photoshoots as we weren't comfortable if someone walked into us taking pictures of ourselves. We are a shy lot of people, u know.

Here is another to make up for the previous blurred photo. She walked into us anyway as I was too slow in my reaction aiya, and she commented that my coloured contact lens made me look like a wolf. Lol. :D
We decided beforehand that both our families wanted a photoshoot package at the studio and hence the staff didn't take much time to persuade us into getting it. In addition, we signed up for another shoot solely for us. (We haven't go for that yet, but will soon so that we won't be wasting our deposits!)

After the grad gowns were packed nicely into "i Gave" paper bags, we didn't rest our tired legs and continued on our way to the railway bridge.

The grad gowns were quite heavy and unmanageable for me so the laborious Jun Wen persuaded me to let him help. He said his muscles needed more training.

It was a long walk to the track from the bus stop but I didn't mind since he knew the exact way there. His best friend lives nearby so they went there together for some bromance time. (LOL).
He got a call on our way and while he was attending to it at the void deck, I was strolling outside the block when a pot of flowers went plummeting down and shattered into pieces upon touching the ground few inches behind me. I got away unhurt but got a scare from the loud thud and commotion it caused. Omg! Can't imagine how close to death I was at that time and how thankful I was to God!

After calming down from the shock, we walked abit more and reached! Look at how tanned he used to be! This was during the time when we finished exams and before commencement of work and had lots of free time to go for outdoor activities whenever possible. Hence undoubtedly our skin gets darker each day.

Was quite embarrassed to put on our gowns since photographers on the track had their eyes on us once we had them on. But well we should be proud of having them on so despite the embarrassment we went deeper onto the tracks and started our photo taking.

He said we must do something stupid with the gown so he flipped his cap the wrong side and tried to look stupid.

More photos of him than me as my legs went weak at the sight of the great height from the ground. The river was just below us, the wind was strong enough to blow our grad cap away and we had to hold on tight to both the caps and the railing. Hence he went to venture deeper and I stayed put to capture some shots of him trying to be funny. lol.
All would be great if my stupid finger wasn't there to block part of the picture.

The daredevil who wants to try bungee jumping someday sat between the gaps of the tracks for the photo. I kept nagging at him to be careful about monkeying there (lol) since there might be a slim possibility of him falling into those gaps and then plunging into the waters below.

It was a horrifying experience for someone who is afraid of heights like me but he was having so much fun!
真是同人不同命!

Nice, like a poster boy.

Wanting to look as if he was about to jump down, one of his usual suicidal poses anywhere we went.

Finally a picture of me, trying to stay calm.

:D
It's been more than a year since we left NTU. Times flies. Somehow I miss those times when we were students and had less to worry about.
Perhaps it's time for me to grow up.
