My church cell group friend, Derek, has passed away on Friday morning. He has gotten his motorbike license and a new motorbike earlier this year. And on Thursday night, he was involved in an accident, was sent to the ICU and passed away few hours later.
Derek was only 20 years old. He has dreams of buying his favorite car (I can't remember which brand. He was very specific about it.) He always hopes to be a successful drummer someday. And maybe an Air Steward after graduation. He is someone who never gives up on pursuing his dreams. But he wasn't given enough time on Earth to fulfill his dreams. I know he will be able to in heaven.
Dear Derek, u will be missed. We love u and may u stay happy beside God forever in heaven.
There is this post on his facebook wall that reads, "Derek, can u ask me again whether my daddy is fetching me tonight?" :(
He is younger brother's close friend. Hope younger bro will feel better soon.
