Back to the blogging mode.
I just realized I unknowingly skipped 2 episodes of The Big Bang Theory of Season 3 the last time I watched it. So happy! Now I have 2 more episodes to watch tonight!~
My Day 3 of Vietnam trip hasn't been uploaded to Photobucket. I missed the whole Day 3 photos out. Lols! I hope I won't be so blur in my future job!
Didn't know that job hunting can be so difficult! 100 over people applying for 1 position. It's sad but it's true! Omg! Somemore I am not good at interviews at all! But still, going to enjoy the time of being unemployed! Hope I can find a job I enjoy doing soon.. :D
Here to blog about the day I went for my bro's and cousin's convocation.
My elder bro graduated at the same year as me cos he has to go for NS and worked full-time for 2 years as a Credit Control Executive to earn money for his school fees. SIM's school fees are really high, 3 times higher than NTU's. Poor elder bro has to work and save alot for 2 years to study 3 years in SIM. But he finally graduated, and has graduated with a Degree with Distinction! He was then approached by one of the Big 4 companies for an interview and he has gotten in as now an Audit Associate! He was offered a salary higher than his other friends. Finally, his hard work paid off and he never has to worry about money anymore. I hope I will soon be like him too, and can spend some money buying the things I like, like everything in New Look. Lol. Did I say I have spent $60 to get the membership card? LOL. It's crazy but it's true!
Hahaha. Enough jibber jabber (something I learnt from The Big Bang Theory)!
By the way, "Fringe" is a nice drama too! I love it~
Here we were at SIM on 23rd Aug. Cousin was very excited about it and insisted that if I really get a job offer by then, I should tell my employer that I would start after 23rd Aug. Lol.
I must say SIM is a pretty school! I love the escalators and the air-con found everywhere in the school.

Took a photograph of the Grand Hall entrance! The previous batch of graduates! So crowded right!

The ceremony was a torture. Lol. My aunt and dad were getting impatient waiting for the presentation of certs. I was bored too! I didn't understand why Granny, Aunt and Dad laughed when my cousin's name was announced and she went up the stage to receive her cert. They said she looked so fat on the screen. They are very mean people!

Was so happy when the ceremony ended. Granny and Aunt cut queue and got us lots of food. Lol. They are experts. No one looked angry when they cut the queue. I think if I cut the queue, I would definitely be scolded. In my opinion, people are more tolerant towards older people. U think so too?

They took for us the desserts first, fearing that these desserts may be gone later on.

My bro's friend, the top of the cohort. Brainy pretty girl!
My bro went up the stage twice cos he won another award, the ACCA award~ Cool! And we get to have our lunch in the VIP area. It was not crowded and we were served with different kinds of drinks.
Then my bro and cousin went to take photos around their campus while we waited for them at the VIP area. Dad and Granny wanted coffee so I went to the coffee machine and before I could even press the button to dispense the drink, some staff asked if he could help. I was at first very happy that they have such efficient service and said i wanted 2 coffees. Then I realised he didn't believe when I told him that my bro has the right to be in the VIP area. And he didn't allow me to get any drinks!! Do I really look like a liar?
We had to wait till my bro got back before Dad and Granny had their coffees. I looked at the staff with a you-see-I-didn't-lie look!

Aunt's idea. The SIM word must be the background.

I looked small size next to the 2 persons wearing big gowns. Lol. My cousin's gown was weird since its length covered her entire body. Mine was only somewhat below my knees.

Love my top with heart shaped buttons and my pants. Both from Hong Kong! Both at about S$15 each. I saw the same top selling at Nex. I didn't ask for the price but I hope it is more expensive here. Hong Kong doesn't really sell dresses. They always sell harem pants which I bought a few and also oversized blouses which I bought like twenty. Lol.
Finally not critized by Cousin on my dressing that day. She always says I don't have good dress sense. Lol.

My cousin, her mum and Bro.

The grey bear was what we bought for my Bro but he said he could give it to Cousin. The flowers was bought by Bro for Cousin that very morning at Nex's NTUC but Cousin didn't like it. Lol. Aunt thought that it was more suited to give to my deceased Grandpa. Hahas!
And the SIM bear is the same one as the NTU bear. They are just wearing different coloured gowns. Cousin kept asking her mum to buy it for her. A bear costs $60 btw. OMG! I just climbed 8 flight of stairs to meet Cousin and Aunt. And Aunt asked me to go back to the ground level to get the bear. I went down and up again, and the old and fragil me nearly died.

Near the entrance of SIM. Looks like a formal photoshoot.

The main entrance was where many graduates have their photos taken at. Many were throwing their berets there.

Natural right! Ahem, what good skills the photographer has~ Lol.

Bro threw his beret too high and it was out of range from the photo. He tried hard to control his strength but couldn't in the end. So the nicest photo I could get out of them is this one when he just began to throw it.

The smallest bear (S$19.90) was bought at a small florist store below the escalator of The Cathay. The florist is such a nice and cool uncle! Like him so much! Promise to buy flowers from him only next time.

The necklace was given to Cousin by her friend. She asked me how she was going to take photos with the necklace, like whether she has to wear it with her gown. I told her she can put it around the bear's neck. The first attempt failed cos the bear looked like a priest with this long chain around its neck.

Then Aunt helped us to make the necklace shorter after various attempts to suffocate the bear.

Love this! Seldom can I hand over shoulder someone!

Bro treated us to dinner later. His award was S$250 cash. Lol. Dinner was steamboat buffet at Bugis. Aunt led the way to the restaurant she always has her dinner at. It is beside the steamboat buffet restaurant where Tuck Wei and friends recommended and took us to~
Cousin took this photo and we kept on laughing at Dad. He looked so hungry!

The spicy part was too spicy. We switched to only eating from the non-spicy half of the boat.

Happy Graduation Bro and Cousin~ Degree in Accounting is the best in my opinion! If only I choose Accounting last time too. :D Too late for regrets but it's okie! I will find joy from my present Bioeng. Lol.
