The manager terminated my contract with Recruit Express and gave me $8/hr from 1st Aug onwards. :) HAPPY!! Kind of nice of her ;P She was reprimanded by the agent for that. I heard her negotiating with the agent for about 15 mins. She lied and said she terminated me cos she found a new permanent staff to replace me. LOLS. The agent was so apologetic towards me! I'm feeling ultra guilty.
The assistant manager was supposed to come back to work today but she didnt! She extended her hospitalization leave! I feel so bad i dunno why.
Simba said i am spending ages to blog about 2nd day in Taiwan. Cant really blame me u see. Blogger took a thousand year to upload a photo.

We bought a 3 days transport pass for TWD440 (SGD$20). Can enjoy unlimited rides on mrt and bus! How cool is that! We took our first mrt ride to the first memorial hall. Zhong Zheng Ji Nian Tang. 2 stops from Xi Men Ding! Take the lime green line :)

We are here at CKS Memorial Hall after a short walk. It was so HOT! 33 Degrees Celsius. Burnt!

The marching of guards.Yuan lai what simba meant by 'hourly change of guards' is that the guard will stand still for an hour, and wait an hour for a march past and his colleague to replace him. He wanna get to the hall by 10am exactly to watch the march past. We didnt miss any part of it, since simba kept hurrying me on our way. lols.
I thought they must have felt like celebrities since many tourists were video-caming them. But simba said they learnt nothing from the job. Boring job.
I took a complete video of them. Didnt know why it was so nice, but simba liked it anyway.
